When Eurobond 1, 2, and 3 were taken, Ruto in an interview done by Hussein Mohammed dismissed claims that the funds had been mismanaged even though the Auditor General report had indicated that 215.5bn of the loan could not be accounted for.

During that same period, Henry Rotich was the Finance CS, and the current Governor of the Central Bank of Kenya, Kamau Thugge was Rotich's PS.
It was here that Auditor General Ouko revealed that 215.5bn of the Eurobond could not be accounted for.

Between July 2014 and July 2015, a total of 196.9bn of the Eurobond loan had been disbursed to the national exchequer account.
It was at this point that Raila Odinga raised questions regarding the use of the same loan.

The task force of inquiry of public debt is formed and does not look into the Eurobond 1, 2, and 3 then the Ruto administration would only be hoodwinking gullible Kenyans.
