Part 2/13 of my Marina Management System series: Marinas & Berths ⚓

(Quick update: the series is now 13 parts, not 8.)

Every marina gets its own page and every berth has a live status.

The berth map: each pier is a row of berths, coloured free, occupied, reserved or in repair. One look shows what's open tonight.

Next up: Part 3, Bookings & Contracts. Follow along for the rest of the series.

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

Every berth in one table: size, status, rate and who is in it, filtered by pier or status. And the whole admin works in Arabic, right-to-left.

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

Click a berth to see who is docked, open work orders, upcoming bookings and recent stays, next to the marina's details.

@designertom Making portfolio critiques commonplace would help so many designers. excited to see what you and Ridd come up with

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@emilkowalski What a run. your craft has inspired so many designers. excited to see what’s next

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@ridd_design @gt @mds @femkesvs @IniAbiodun @joshpuckett @gabrielvaldivia @maheen_sohail Reviews from Geoff, Femke, Josh and the rest in one episode is such a gift for designers. a standing segment would be amazing

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@raunofreiberg Had no idea iMessage plays it right in the link preview. such an easy way to make a shared link stand out

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@FonsMans Such a clean moment. a short sound with the wordmark is a lovely way to make a brand feel alive

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@adriankuleszo @designme Climate finance is hard to make feel approachable and this does it. the light cards next to the deep green panels balance so well

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@marcelkargul The line illustrations make security feel calm instead of scary. love the cream and deep green palette

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@michalmalewicz Still growing 10 years later with only a few tweaks is the best proof the identity work was right

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@michalmalewicz Building your own tool when nothing fits is such a designer move. a teleprompter-style script makes so much sense for short clips

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@hunterthompson Going from a phone video to setback lines and a render is wild. love that it starts with something everyone already has in their pocket

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@figma @harvey Keeping the brand and motion guidelines in Figma for the agents to pull from is the smart part. that’s how hundreds of videos still feel on brand

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@karrisaarinen @linear Making code changes right inside the review is such a nice step. excited to see the easier UX next

[Nikunj Chauhan | Product Designer @nikunjdesign]

@MengTo Stand still for reduced motion is such a thoughtful default. and updating the demo from code when the UI changes beats re-recording videos

@jh3yy The holographic sticker is so good. adding sounds and wear marks makes them feel like real stickers on a laptop
