History has been written today.

On 10 June 2026, Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji completes 4,399 consecutive days in office, surpassing the 4,398 days of India's first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru ji, to become the longest continuously serving elected Prime Minister in the history of our Republic.

Pause for a moment and reflect on what this truly means.

India is not a nation in the ordinary sense. It is a civilisation of 1.4 billion souls. A land of 22 scheduled languages and hundreds of dialects; of many faiths, castes, communities and creeds; of countless regions and walks of life, living side by side. We are the world's largest democracy, with an electorate of nearly 98 crore, more than the people living in all of Europe. This makes ours perhaps the most complex electoral exercise across the globe.

And yet, out of these 1.4 billion people, the same leader has been entrusted with the nation: again, and again, and again. 2014. 2019. 2024. Three successive mandates from the people of India, each one a renewed act of faith.

To win the trust of so vast and diverse a nation even once is remarkable. To win it three times over, without a break, is extraordinary.

Consider, too, how different the two eras are. Pandit Nehru ji earned his mandate in the formative decades of the Republic, an age of one-party dominance in which the Congress towered over a young and fragmented opposition. Narendra Modi ji has earned his in a far more demanding democracy: the age of coalitions, of powerful regional forces and fierce multi-party competition. And he has met that challenge in full: winning absolute majorities in his own right in 2014 and 2019 (the first single-party majorities since 1984), and then forging and leading a victorious coalition in 2024. To command the trust of so fiercely contested a nation, mandate after mandate, is by any measure the harder achievement.

On this historic occasion, I bow to the wisdom of the Indian voter and salute the Hon'ble Prime Minister's tireless devotion to the nation.

May he be blessed with robust health and a long life, and may the people of Bharat grant him many more mandates in the service of our motherland.

२०१९ मध्ये राहुल गांधी अमेठीतून लोकसभेची निवडणूक हरले, तेव्हा संसद भवन परिसरात एका पत्रकाराने टीएमसीचे खासदार डेरेक ओ’ब्रायन यांना राहुल गांधींच्या एका वक्तव्यावर प्रतिक्रिया विचारली. त्यावर डेरेक ओ’ब्रायन यांनी उपरोधिकपणे विचारले होते, “राहुल कोण आहेत? ते वायनाडचे खासदार आहेत का?”

२०२१ मध्ये पश्चिम बंगालमधील प्रचंड विजयानंतर ममता बॅनर्जी आणि तृणमूल काँग्रेस देशभरात काँग्रेसला पर्याय उभा करण्याच्या प्रयत्नात ह���ते. गोवा, मेघालय आणि इतर राज्यांमध्ये काँग्रेसची राजकीय जागा घेण्याची मोहीम सुरू होती. त्याच काळात मुंबईत शरद पवार यांची भेट घेतल्यानंतर पत्रकारांनी “यूपीए”बद्दल विचारले असता ममता बॅनर्जी यांनी स्पष्टपणे म्हटले होते, “यूपीए अस्तित्वात नाही.”

२०२४ च्या लोकसभा निवडणुकीतही पश्चिम बंगालमध्ये काँग्रेसला एकही जागा देण्यास त्यांनी नकार दिला. विधानसभा निवडणुकांच्या पार्श्वभूमीवरही त्यांचे वारंवार एकच म्हणणे होते “बंगालमध्ये काँग्रेस नावाचा पक्षच नाही, मग आघाडीचा प्रश्न कुठे येतो?”

२०२६ निवडणुकी नंतर खा.अभिषेक बॅनर्जी यांच्यावर हल्ला झाल्यानंतर स्वतः राहुल गांधी यांनी ममता बॅनर्जी यांना फोन करून त्यांच्या प्रकृतीची विचारपूस केली होती. “मी तुमच्यासाठी काय मदत करू शकतो?” अशी विचारणा करत त्यांनी राजकीय मतभेद बाजूला ठेवून माणुसकी आणि सहकार्याची भूमिका दाखवली होती.

पण आज चित्र पूर्णपणे बदललेले दिसते.

आज स्वतः ��मता बॅनर्जी आणि तृणमूल काँग्रेसचे अनेक नेते प्रत्येक राजकीय चर्चेत राहुल गांधींचा उल्लेख करतात. काँग्रेसच्या नेतृत्वाखालील विरोधी आघाडीत एकत्र काम करण्याची भाषा बोलतात.

विशेष म्हणजे, राहुल गांधी मात्र कधीही भूतकाळातील वक्तव्यांची आठवण करून देत नाहीत. ना ते असलं काही लक्षात ठेवतात. ते ना कोणाला कमी लेखतात, ना उपरोधिक प्रतिक्रिया देतात. उलट विरोधकांची एकजूट, सहकार्य आणि सामूहिक लढ्��ाचीच भूमिका मांडतात.

राजकारणात पदे, सत्ता आणि समीकरणे बदलत राहतात. पण काळ जसजसा पुढे सरकतो, तसतसे नेतृत्वाचे खरे मोल समोर येते.

कारण शेवटी, जेव्हा एखादा नेता मनाने मोठा आणि सर्वांना सोबत घेऊन चालणारा असतो, तेव्हा त्याच्या सोबत उभे राहणे हेच अनेकांसाठी अभिमानाची गोष्ट बनते.

राहुल गांधी हे केवळ एक राजकारणी नाहीत, तर त्याग, बलिदान, संयम आणि संघर्षाचे प्रती��� आहेत.
म्हणूनच राहुल गांधी होणं सोपं नाही. ❤️

Riyazuddin Mansoori. Plz read this name again. He saved eight lives in Delhi hotel fire.

Mansoori n his son Arman, took out 20-25 mattresses from his shop n kept outside window of the hotel where fire broke out. So that people stuck inside could jump.

Eight people could save their lives because of Mansoori family. He didn't think about loss of a few lakhs of mattresses.

He himself might don't want to boast. But this is for everyone who try to criminalise every act by Muslims.
