A big addition to Fold.
A @Stanford professor, formerly on the faculty at Harvard , whose research has helped advance AI-driven understanding of human behaviour, is joining us as Co-founder and Chief Behaviourist Scientist.
We’re building a world model of people for the physical world. This is a significant step towards it.
Name reveal soon.
@bznotes This is not new it’s been always there, have personally gone through this during my YC days, it’s just social media has given this more fire, so yes always keep wartime investors very close
@bznotes Finally !!! Someone saying this 🙏🏻🙏🏻 I spoke to a founder a couple of days backer and asked him what’s your contribution margin ? And he was like wtf is this 😔
@itsTimWijaya Sounds very naive founders, I do believe quality of investor matters but that doesn’t mean to give up if the tier 1 don’t invest, this clearly shows the founder not building to build but to get into the media hype and PR
Introducing @HonarmandM97 my co founder who took the advice of that investor seriously and got blue tick 😂 interestingly this guy did his PhD from @Stanford in Ai co advise by @drfeifei and @dpwall00 two big names and was part of @StanfordHAI !! But even he is not spared 😂
Met an investor today.
Feedback wasn’t on the product, technology, market, or team.
“You should post more on X so big VCs start following you.”
We have people who helped shape Apple and Beats, Stanford AI researchers, and engineering veteran with serious exits trying to build an absurdly hard product.
But apparently the real moat is posting consistently.
@elonmusk please advise. Apparently I’ve been using this app wrong 😒
