I first came to ITH Klessheim as a young woman from Pakistan, carrying little more than hope and determination.
49 years later, I returned to be honoured among three alumni at the 60th anniversary of the ITH Klessheim, Salzburg Austria.

Some journeys are measured not in miles, but in the distance a woman travels within herself.

As Chairperson NCSW, I left office last year with one task unfinished: Gilgit-Baltistan still lacked a Commission on the Status of Women. Today the law is gazetted, giving women of GB the institution they long deserved.
