Joy does not mean happiness.

You can go through the worst tribulations in life and be genuinely unhappy - but deep down, in Christ, there is a deep joy and peace.

The suffering of this time is not worth comparing the Glory to be revealed to us in Christ Jesus. Romans 8:18
