Also I should mention that another FA stepped in after a while and was actually helpful. She really saved the situation and made us feel comfortable and supported.
.@AirCanada we are flying with a 13 month old on AC738 and one of the flight attendants was very, very antagonistic to us because we had a car seat.
It's stressful enough to fly with a very young child, and this FA made it unnecessarily difficult.
That is unacceptable.
I would like to share the specific flight attendant's name so that hopefully she gets some kind of training that will help her understand that her job is to help passengers, not be upset at them for flying with a baby.
Please let me know the best way to do that. Thank you.
@mmbronstein Sorry to see you go. I don't come here much anymore, since indeed it's even more of a shithole than it used to be. I noticed that I reliably feel pretty terrible after opening the app.
@mmbronstein So, I don't know what the solution is, but massacring primarily civilians in the name of eradicating terrorists did not work in the past, but more importantly, still involves massacring innocent people at an enormous scale.
@mmbronstein Domestically, it was a drain on the US and stained its international reputation, especially when atrocities were revealed, like Abu Ghraib. It also led to the erosion of US citizens' rights with the introduction of laws like the Patriot Act and the use of Guatanamo Bay.
@mmbronstein Regardless of our individual positions, these indiscriminate killings are against international law and basic humanity and history will judge the killers of innocent people harshly, for whatever that's worth.
@mmbronstein Makes me sad to hear people I knew personally make these kinds of statements, since I'm Tamil and it was heartbreaking to see all these people killed, but I can see why you'd think this way.
