In the last decade, Bharat has scripted a new era by emerging as a global leader from a regional leader. The Intelligence Bureau has played a decisive role in neutralising various threats in the country. Combating divisive forces that harm society through misinformation and fake news should also be our priority.

Under the leadership of PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, Bharat is building its police force as an apparatus capable of both securing the nation against new-age challenges and addressing the root causes of crime and terrorism. The DGP/IGP Conference serves as a knowledge-sharing platform to fortify policing in every state through collaboration.

Today, inaugurated the 59th DGP/IGP Conference-2024 in Bhubaneshwar. Also distributed police medals for meritorious service and awarded trophies to the three best police stations in the country.

In a firm step towards realizing Modi Ji's vision of enhancing women's participation in every field of nation-building, the Modi government has approved the establishment of the first all-women battalion of the CISF.

To be raised as an elite troop, the Mahila Battalion will shoulder the responsibility of protecting the nation's critical infrastructure, like airports and metro rails, and providing VIP security as commandos.

The decision will certainly fulfill the aspirations of more women to participate in the crucial task of protecting the nation.
