@JamesLaverty45 I get you got tomorrow promote what you are showing on your own air. But people tune in to watch Sportscenter also. Saturday am after Sweet 16 the first 30 min of SC showed highlights 2 men’s games and 4 women’s. The best part was the 1st 6 rows of stands were 75% empty for women
I don’t know this and just a guess but I’d bet the Pirates front office was thinking this ballpark of contract for Griffin this spring if he was interested.
@Pirates front office can’t be happy about this. Not nearly the prospect Griffin is and a small market team setting this precedent. If this kid is worth $50M over 8 years, what does that mean Griffin is worth right now? More than Bucs are comfortable with for sure.
Pratt, MLB’s No. 64 prospect, is a terrific SS who’s viewed as having potential at bat (hit .238 with 8 HR at Double-A Biloxi last year). Has played just 3 games at Triple-A.
For those not familiar. That is guaranteed money for the player in MLB contracts. Not play money like long term NFL contracts. If the kid is a star it’s a great deal for the club, with two club options as well. If not, it’s lighting $25 to $50M on fire.
The replies, the day after the NBA scandal are amazing. People are still not getting that situations like this create the climate for criminal manipulation for even low level staff who have this information. In the wrong hands that is 7 figures worth of info on Lamar.
Participation in summer league is dipping.
How are summer league's fighting to survive in the college baseball transfer portal era?

We didn't have playdates when I was a kid; our parents kicked us out till dark. And the weakest among us ended up on Unsolved Mysteries like Mother Nature intended.
Never an excuse for not running hard or sliding. A tad lazy by coach and player. But….holy mother of god that was a fucking unreal throw. No hyperbole, best throw ever. From a standing position, I would not of thought they was humanly possible. So that is a bit of an excuse.
