@Pieceofmy_mind_@Ikigaimode In circumstances where the field of medicine can't save both the mother and the child, the mother should be saved. Abortion shouldn't be a right coz it violates the most fundamental right - the right to life. If one gets pregnant with a child, dey acquire parental responsibility.
As much as I bash my Tamil cities, trust me, even the worst cities in Tamil Nadu don’t come this close. And the joke is, this is supposedly the 3rd cleanest city in India. Yeah, our cities have flaws, but this? Is there any genuine ranking or reliable data that the government can release? This is why I always find it hard to trust government rankings.
ALL BUT CONFIRMED: FCRA BILL TO BE SENT TO JPC
Opposition and Christian religious bodies have all but prevailed upon NDA. In BAC meet the overwhelming sentiment was against FCRA Bill. NDA indicated it is open to demands.
Bill likely to be sent to JPC.
My proposals to the Indian government @MEAIndia:
• Ban Christianity
• Deport Christians to America
• Confiscate their property and use it to build temples
• Ban Western NGOs
• Suspend medical and tourist visas for Americans
• Build more nuclear weapons to target the West
Unborn children with uteruses are getting killed at much higher rates than those without one in India though.
Besides, one can give opinions on topics they haven't personally experienced - I don't need to get into an accident to talk on how to prevent it
@ChenCoi73100 Children with disabilities and children of rape victims also deserve the right to life. A mother's life isn't under danger in such scenarios. We can save, provide healthcare for both the mother and the child. Being poor (most Indians are) isn't a threat to mother's life either.
@ChenCoi73100 Well, if the man leaves the woman and the child, the legal system already makes sure that such men pay child support and also take pregnancy, child birth expenses into account.
Men supporting the killing of innocent human beings doesn't make it ok either.
@SelfRespecxcmq@grok Bodily autonomy isn't a license to kill others. People impose their beliefs all the time. Laws can always be changed for the better. My personal faith being an influence to value and safeguard all innocent human lives, the right to life is clearly a win from an ethical standpoint
@SelfRespecxcmq@grok One can impose laws that prevent the killing of innocent human beings in order to protect the right to life, in this case for the unborn.
@SelfRespecxcmq@grok One doesn't even have to be religious to be pro-life. Killing unborn humans should be stigmatized. TN politics needs Christians to advocate for the policies they support. If the irreligious can impose their values on others, so can the Christians.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you can be nonreligious and anti-abortion at the same time. In fact our group welcomes you specifically.
XOXO,
Kelsey, Monica, and Terrisa
(all pro-life atheists)
@DumboDhruvi@RishiJoeSanu Sure, but Property rights just like any other rights shouldn't be infringed upon. Property rights are already quite weak in India, too much infringement already. Most countries do way better on the property rights department.
