The reason I am suggesting this is that his Tajak Varshaphal chart for 2026-27 has 5th lord Rahu in 5th and lagna lord Venus and 9th lord Mercury in 9th. That chart takes effect at the time above. His Tithi Pravesh chart for 2026-27 also has 5th lord Rahu in 5th.

PS: I never made such suggestions/requests in the past for anyone else. But I am 100% confident that Annamalai ji is a sincere, selfless, dharmik & highly competent leader with deep love for TN & India. I am also confident that praying for his success is highly dharmik and WILL benefit TN and India, IRRESPECTIVE of whether he leads a new party that aligns with BJP later or remains with BJP after some drama and a fortified image pleasing people of TN.

PPS: You can start earlier than the time I mentioned and end later than the time I mentioned, but the actual time the new solar/lunar year starts for him is in the middle of the window I gave.

On that note, another crazy link I kept to myself so far relates to Chandrasekhara Saraswati Mahaswami of Kanchi & Sadguru Samarth Ramadas! Let me recount it today.

A priest with crazy intuition used to visit our home with Anna (Swami Sathasivom - head priest of Chennai Kalikambal temple) many years back.

An example of his intuition/subtle vision: He came to our house once when I was meditating and asked me after I stopped, "you were meditating on so and so form of Shiva, right?" He was correct and it's not even a form I normally worshiped (I'm more of a devotee of divine Mother & Narayana), i.e. it had a very low probability if it was a random guess.

One day, he went into a kind of trance and said, "today I'll tell you your janma rahasyam (birth secret). You are born for an important work and Chandrasekhara Saraswati Mahaswami is behind your birth. He came to your town before your birth and blessed your parents to get you as a child."

Mind you, this was well before I did my first homa or created the first homa manual.

He then asked me to check if Mahaswami came to my town a couple of years before my birth.

I checked and found out that he indeed came to Machilipatnam 2.5 years before my birth!!

I was also shocked to learn his link with reviving my childhood temple!

Sadguru Samarth Ramdas, guru of Shivaji Maharaj and believed to be an amsa of Hanuman, established several Hanuman temples across south India. One of them, a Suvarchala-Sameta-Anjaneya-Swamy temple (i.e. Hanuman accompanied by his consort Suvarchala), was 1/4 mile from where I was born & brought up. I used to go there regularly in my childhood. But it was a forgotten temple when Mahaswami came, with no pujas taking place.

During that visit, Mahaswami got up in the middle of a night and said, "Swami is calling us. He's hungry. Let us go." He walked far & took out a murthi from bushes! He lit a lamp, offered naivedyam & told the locals, "you MUST light a lamp & offer naivedyam to this Hanuman everyday. This is a very powerful temple established by Shivaji's guru & time has come for it to become famous again."

By the time I was born, a structure was established. As I grew up, the temple became bigger & bigger. Thousands used to throng it every Tuesday, by the time I was in college.

See, a temple established by Sadguru Samarth Ramdas & revived by Chandrasekhara Saraswati Mahaswami, was key to my spiritual upbringing - I grew up visiting it and worshiping Hanuman regularly. Especially Hanuman there is accompanied by consort Suvarchala (daughter of Sun - personifying the brightness of Sun, who, shastras say, is fed by the fire rituals people do on earth).

And, I was born in the lineage of Peshwa Moropant Pingle, who was Shivaji's Prime Minister.

And, I ended up going to a temple, where Shivaji was specifically sent by Sadguru Samarth Ramdas before a major war, to undertake a week-long ritual with a specific sankalpa to benefit Mahaswami's religious heir (see https://t.co/si04ZDqgxk)!

And, darshan and command of Devi to Mansih @mmpandit during that week ended up giving birth to the DIY Homa Movement & slowly many many spiritual seekers are getting into regular homa practice!

And this movement is really great for a renaissance in a key part of Sanatana Dharma.

That may well be the "important work" for which I was brought by Mahaswami per the priest's intuition. I don't really know.

BTW, Sri Nakhate Maharaj (Manish's guru), who is from the spiritual lineage of Sri Vasudevananda Saraswati (also known as Tembe Swami), was known to Mahaswami.

The play of rinas and Divine Will is very strange and deep and we cannot fathom it all. Saints like Mahaswami likely knew every thing and, operating as jeevanmuktas, directed portions of God's play on earth. But people like us don't know it all. Yet we can play useful roles in the play, if we are humble, sincere and selfless!

I normally keep things like this to myself, but wanted to record this one once in writing for posterity.

Things like this can be ego-boosters, not only for me, but for others who like/follow me!!

Instead of focusing on the teachings, many people these days tend to focus on personalities & useless fandom.

My mission is NOT to accumulate personal admirers, but to enable more and more people to discover the pleasure of the company of Agni Deva & get them into Homa as a spiritual sadhana! 🙏🔥🕉🔥🙏

BTW, the priest with great intuition whom I mentioned, was identified, given diksha & trained as a priest, by legendary Sivacharya Sri Sambamurthy Sivachariar (father of Anna - Swami Sathasivom).

He was a simple & pure soul not skilled in (or bothered about) worldly matters & hence Anna's father asked Anna to look after him till his end (Anna did & Siddhanatha Gurukkal is no more).

Final note: Mahaswami is known to have identified several such hidden jewels of temples and revived them. He wasn't called a "walking god" for no reason! 🙏🙏

Traveling along the picturesque eastern coastline, Machindranath visited various sacred pilgrimage sites until he finally arrived at the holy shores of Rameswaram. There, he beheld the magnificent bridge built by Lord Rama (Ram Setu). While he was taking a holy dip in the ocean, it suddenly began to rain heavily. Amidst the downpour, Machindranath noticed a peculiar sight: a monkey (Vanara) was hurriedly stacking stones together, desperately trying to build a shelter from the rain. Amused by this futile effort, Machindranath mockingly called out to the monkey, saying that trying to construct a house in the middle of a torrential downpour is as foolish as digging a well only after one feels thirsty. Hearing this, the monkey, who was none other than the mighty Lord Hanuman in disguise replied, "You seem to be a highly knowledgeable and clever ascetic! May I know your name?"
Machindranath proudly introduced himself as a Yati (ascetic) named Sadhu Machindra, declaring that he possessed immense yogic powers. Amused by his confidence, the monkey challenged Machindranath to demonstrate the true strength of his yogic prowess. Machindranath fearlessly accepted the challenge.

In a flash, Hanuman went behind a nearby mountain, assumed a gigantic, terrifying form, and effortlessly lifted the entire mountain, hurling it fiercely toward Machindranath. Seeing this display of unimaginable strength, Machindranath immediately realized the true identity of the monkey. Remaining perfectly calm, he took a pinch of sacred ash (Bhasma) in his hand, threw it in Hanuman's direction, and chanted, "Be still! Be still!" (Sthir ho! Sthir ho!). Instantly, the massive mountain froze mid-air. Infuriated by this, Maruti grabbed yet another mountain, took flight, and prepared to crush Machindranath from above. However, Machindranath quickly chanted the Vatakarshan Mantra (a spell to control the wind) and splashed seawater toward Hanuman. The moment the water droplets struck him, the mighty Maruti was entirely paralyzed mid-air, still holding the mountain. Unable to move even an inch, he began to feel suffocated. Witnessing his son’s agony, Vayudev, the Wind God and father of Hanuman, rushed to the scene. He surrendered before Machindranath and earnestly pleaded for his son's release. Respecting the Wind God's request, Machindranath immediately freed Maruti from the paralyzing spell.

Great question! 🙏 Let me cover a couple of angles.

First, stories from Puranas/Upanishads are metaphors for inner truths unfolding within us at different times. Surya, Chandra & Brihaspati personify soul, mind & wisdom/intellect (धी).

A Male Devata & his consort stand for potential & kinetic aspects of a specific type of energy. As Brihaspati stands for wisdom, his consort Tara Devi stands for the application of that wisdom, i.e. putting wisdom to use (kinetic aspect).

Naturally, "mind" (Chandra) is drawn to "putting wisdom to use" (Tara). When they come together, "learning ability & scholarship" (personified by Budha) is born. So this isn't a story of an affair/incest, but of subtle play happening within different aspects of consciousness!!

BTW, Brihasparti not only held no grudge against Chandra or Tara, but accepted Budha as his his own son and taught him (i.e. wisdom is what informs our learning ability & scholarship)! In fact, Brihaspati is the greatest guru (Jupiter in our charts shows how Guru tattva works within us) and Budha is the greatest sishya (Buidha in our charts shows how well we learn & comprehend things). The fact that their relationship in Jyotish is that of Shatru/Sama (enemy/neutral) is more related to the functions played by wisdom and learning ability.

Secondly, why is Brihaspati exalted in Karkataka? Well, moolatrikona and exaltation sign of a planet are akin to one's place of work (office) and one's favorite hangout. Brihaspati has moolatrikona in Dhanus, the 9th house of dharma of natural zodiac. Upholding dharma is where he works. But Kartkataka is the 4th house of peace and comfort, in the natural zodiac. Wisdom loves being at ease and relaxing. That's why he's exalted there.

BTW, note that Mangal, who personifies the aggression & fire in the belly (to get things done) within us, is debilitated in Karkataka. No wonder, because the fire/aggression want to work and not relax. So 4th house of natural zodiac (Karkataka) is the debilitation sign and 10th house (action, work!) of natural zodiac (Makara) is the exaltation sign.

BTW, Budha has both moolatrikona and exaltation sign in Kanya, the 6th house of quarrels & challenges in the natural zodiac. Obviously, the learning ability & scholarship in us loves challenges & it's also its assigned duty.

Today is Chaitra Shuddha Ashtami, the sacred Utpatti Din (Manifestation Day) of Maa Tuljabhavani 🧵
Millions chant her name, but very few know the breathtaking cosmic history of the Goddess who gave Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj his legendary sword. Why is she called "Tulja"? And what is the profound story behind her other names, "Tukai" and "Yedai"?
The history of the Maharashtra Kulswamini is a masterclass in the dual nature of the Divine Feminine: terrifying to predators, yet utterly melted by true devotion.
The story begins in the ancient Krutayuga in the Dandakaranya forest. A sage named Kardam passed away, leaving his pregnant wife, Anubhuti. Choosing her duty as a mother over committing Sati, Anubhuti lived as a Tapasvini, raising her child and immersing herself in severe penance on the Yamunachal mountain.
But profound spiritual purity often attracts the darkest corruption. A demon named Kukar Daitya (also known as Kukkurasur) became blinded by her beauty and predatory lust. He violated her sacred space, physically harassing her and shattering her deep meditation.
In her absolute vulnerability, Anubhuti didn't just pray, she demanded the universe to intervene.
The Adimaya (Primordial Mother) didn't take her time. She rushed to the rescue instantly. Manifesting as the fierce, eight armed Ashtabhuja, she engaged the demon. When Kukkurasur charged at her in the form of a massive buffalo, the Goddess severed the beast's head. As the demon emerged from the carcass, she pierced his chest with her trident, freeing Anubhuti.
Because she responded to a vulnerable woman's cry with such blinding, immediate speed, she was named "Tvarita" (The Swift One). (In the Shrividya Sampradaya, the deity of today's Ashtami tithi is indeed Tvarita). Over centuries, "Tvarita" evolved into "Tvarija," and finally morphed into the name we revere today: "Tulja."

Shri Gurudeva Datta 🪷

The Narmada river that originates in Amarkantak, in Madhya Pradesh is associated with the Datta Sampradaya (Datta tradition ) and is a very important place of worship for all devotees of Bhagwan Dattatreya.

According to our Shastras, Bhagwan Shri Dattatreya daily visits Narmada river in the early morning for Snaanam before proceeding to Kashi for Ganga Snaanam and japam.

The Narmada Parikrama is the Pradakshina of the entire Narmada river, that is done by devotees by walking bare- foot in Madhya Pradesh. This Parikrama starts and ends at Amarkantak and covers diverse villages, towns and forest routes. It is a really very difficult and ardourous Yatra, but bestows immense Punya and blessings of Guru Dattatreya on the devotee who completes this Parikrama. It takes about 2.5 to 3 months to complete this entire Narmada Parikrama by foot.

The entire route of Narmada Parikrama is extremely mystical, and every devotee who performs this Parikrama has different divine sightings and experiences during this Parikrama. This route also has some negative energies which try to stop a devotee in completing the Parikrama by causing unexplained obstacles or difficulties during this Parikrama.
This Parikrama thus tests the physical and mental resilience and will -power of every devotee of Shri Datta who undertakes it.

Ashwatthama of Mahabharata who is a Chiranjeev (immortal), is always sighted atleast once in some form, by the devotee during this Parikrama. Mostly he is sighted in the form of a small fair child with a divine demeanour and bearing wearing only a koupinam vastra and having a bleeding wound on his forehead, during this Yatra.

The Garudeshwar Mandir on the banks of Narmada river in Gujarat, is the Samadhi Sthalam of Shri Vasudevananda Saraswati (Tembe Swami) a great Datta devotee and saint from Maharashtra. He composed the powerful and invincible Ghorakashtoddharana Stotram of Datta. The devotees of Datta always visit this powerful Mandir in Gujarat.

Sometimes the grace of the Guru does not arrive with loud rituals, fire pits, or dramatic exorcisms.

Sometimes it arrives in the quietest moment… with just a few words.

One week ago, I was traveling with a powerful yogi and a few other devotees. We had gone to visit a small temple in a village. After the darshan, the temple owner warmly invited us to his house nearby.

We all sat there casually speaking about different things. It was one of those simple village homes where people treat guests like family.
After a while, the temple owner hesitantly told the yogi about a family in the village who were going through a terrible situation. He immediately asked them to come.

Within some time, a mother arrived with her 13-year-old daughter.
The moment the girl entered the room, something felt wrong. She was extremely thin… her face had lost all its glow. Her eyes looked tired, almost frightened. It was hard to believe this child was only thirteen.
Slowly the story came out.

For the past two months, the girl had been hearing a voice constantly whispering into her ear. Day and night. Without a break.

The voice kept telling her terrible things.

Whenever food was given to her, it would whisper:
"Don't eat it. There is poison in it. They are trying to kill you."

When she tried to study, it would say:
"You are useless. You cannot study. You are not fit for anything."

Imagine a child hearing such words every single day, every single hour.
The fear slowly consumed her.

She stopped eating properly because she believed the food was poisoned.
She stopped focusing on her studies because the voice kept discouraging her.

Inside her mind, a war was happening constantly.

But the most painful part was this, she couldn’t tell anyone.

For two whole months she carried that torment silently.

Finally, by the grace of the Divine Mother, she gathered the courage to tell her parents about it just a week before we met her.

Desperate and scared, the parents approached a local practitioner who claimed that a Karna Pisachi spirit had caught hold of the girl.

His solution?

Large homas, complicated rituals, and ceremonies costing several lakhs of rupees.

The family was poor. They simply could not afford it. Yet they were helpless.

That day, by sheer coincidence, or rather by Divine arrangement, they were brought to meet the yogi who was sitting quietly in that house with us.

The yogi did not chant loudly.
He did not perform any dramatic ritual.
He did not ask for money.
He simply looked at the girl with compassion.
Then he gently held one of her hands.
With complete calmness he said just one sentence:

"From today onwards, you will be fine."
That was it.

No theatrics.
No drama.

Within seconds, the girl’s expression changed.

Later that night, something miraculous happened, for the first time in two months, the voices stopped completely.

She slept peacefully that night.
She woke up the next morning and ate food normally, without fear.

The mother later called, unable to control her tears. She kept crying in gratitude, saying her daughter was finally free.

Not a single rupee was spent.
No elaborate rituals.

Just the grace flowing through a realized soul.

Such power does not come merely from personal effort or sadhana.
It comes from the blessings of the Guru parampara.

When the Guru’s grace flows through someone, even a single sentence becomes Rama Raksha.

And that day, the compassion of

Guru Dattatreya is also said to be the immortal who gives ‘Siksha’ to all spiritual teachers and leaders and being extremely strict so can cause extreme sudden falls (by bringing karma out from the Karan shareer) for those who mislead the masses as also can bestow huge wealth on the deserved people suddenly so they can teach others.

Dattatreya is another Pratyaksha Devata (but also Rishi) of Kaliyuga!
He comes to Kashi daily but is also available in Gangapur, Mahur, Girnar and Kolhapur.
Of these Kolhapur is extremely difficult to ‘see’ him, rest of the Kshetras depends on luck and perseverance with sadhana.
I am giving the form to be concentrated on if someone actually wants spiritual progress.
It’s the Ek mukhi Dattatreya, you have to imagine Tri Netra.
Dattatreya (an immortal) is the Guru of Shiva himself…. He is Guru of all Gurus, beyond him there is nothing in terms of sadhana.
He can destroy all astras and abhichara also in just a mere glance.
The 4 Vedas are incarnated as dogs to be at his feet as none can describe his glory in words.
So many Gurus of Maharashtra have benefited from his compassion!

BREASTMILK
She thought she was studying milk.
What she uncovered was a conversation.

In 2008, evolutionary anthropologist Katie Hinde was working in a primate research lab in California, analyzing breast milk from rhesus macaque mothers. She had hundreds of samples and thousands of data points. Everything looked ordinary—until one pattern refused to go away.

Mothers raising sons produced milk richer in fat and protein.
Mothers raising daughters produced a larger volume with different nutrient balances.

It was consistent. Repeatable. And deeply uncomfortable for the scientific consensus.

Colleagues suggested error. Noise. Statistical coincidence.
But Katie trusted the data.

And the data pointed to a radical idea.

Milk is not just nutrition.
It is information.

For decades, biology treated breast milk as simple fuel. Calories in. Growth out. But if milk were only calories, why would it change depending on the sex of the baby?
