🚨 UKNA Chief Arrested in Mizoram: Manipur-Based Banned Outfit Commander Held in Aizawl

The commander-in-chief of the banned United Kuki National Army (UKNA), Thangkhomang Haokip, was arrested in Aizawl, Mizoram, on September 24, according to Mizoram Police.

A joint team of the Assam Rifles and Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB) carried out the operation, Aizawl SP Zosangliana said. Haokip is accused of involvement in several criminal activities in Manipur.

A central intelligence official also said a search operation was underway in Aizawl to locate other suspected UKNA cadres reportedly hiding in the city.

Yesterday, four Tangkhul Nagas were executed by Kuki terrorists at Pilong village, near the Indo-Myanmar border.
Check the HEADSHOTS in the disturbing images. It clearly indicate that these were unarmed men who were executed inhumanely.

Kuki terrorists belonging to the KNA-Burma crossed the UNGUARDED Indo-Myanmar border and executed these civilians.
This is not the first time Naga villages along the Indo-Myanmar border have been attacked at will by terrorists from across the border.

Protecting civilians does not seem to be the primary target of the Indian Army or the Government of India.
Rather, protecting these Kuki-terrorists under the SoO agreement and continue using them as proxies against the local insurgent groups seems to be their only objective.

Meiteis have long been claiming for more than three years that Kuki terrorists from Burma have been waging war against the State. Yet the Assam Rifles seem more interested in maintaining their image and dismissing such allegations.

However, the longer the violence drags on, the more the blatant lies aimed at covering up their incompetence are exposed.

He writes following the Burmanization crackdown in Myanmar in 1967, about 55,000 "Burmese refugees" from Myanmar entered India, mostly in Nagaland, Manipur and Mizoram.

Smaller wave in 1988 but with lower number.

He says many built huts to set up homes, women resorted to smuggling and others joined insurgents operating in the region or indulged in drugs and arms smuggling.

Ironically, he says these refugees are a national security threat for India.

Please note that during the latest 2021 regime change, the No refugees from Myanmar who entered India till sometime late 2025 itself was ~85,000 as per UNHRC.

The question is how many returned to Myanmar?

And why should one, when you can set up home, get Govt rations, enjoy benefits of Govt welfare program such as NREGA set up militant organization and get monthly stipend (E.g Thanglianpao Guite's ZRA) and top it up with a Scheduled Tribe card to get jobs in Govt and Constitutional safeguards, instead of life threat in Myanmar.

For such benefits, paying a few thousand to Kuki village chief and getting a Indian govt doc is a great deal.

Today ,17 years old student , NK. Wiphenbou s/o Nk. Maihilakbou from Nkou village was ambush and killed in between TAKOU -Malek(TAMAH) VILLAGES under Tamei Sub-division by KNF(P), KNF (N),KRA and others KUKI Refugee SOO Groups led by Jangboi Kipgen, the Home Secretary of UPF/KNF.

The boy was on his way to Tamei to buy some essentials items for his family.
