I have seen some nasty social media input from camp Alison Millar. (I think they must be the politically immature she was talking about)!

Ballot papers have been issued & Millar's camp (consisting of NIPSA HQ staff and NIPSA Unity) are on the offensive. Mulholland's camp quiet.

Millar stated that Northern Ireland is not "politically mature" enough for NIPSA to run a political candidate. That hasn't gone down well.

Mulholland states he is governed by the rule book and members, so his involvement in the Socialist Party will have no impact on NIPSA.. 👀

Mulholland has come under fire due to confusion around just how much he earns and how much he will donate to "the movement"...

Also interesting that Millar boasts being a NIPSA employee for 35 years, (meaning she has little experience of working in public sector..)

Regurgitating the same speech on the classroom assistants dispute aside, @AlisonMillar15 hasn't really given any examples of campaigning.

Millar opened by boasting 83 nominations, but now it's individual secret ballot papers and members are free to vote for whoever they choose.

Mulholland recited his manifesto, and closed with "please leave the nasties at the door - we don't need them and they don't help anybody".

The niceties were over when Mulholland said "I don't know where I am time wise", to which a Millar supporter interrupted "you're finished"!

Mulholland opened with "put up your hand if you haven't made up your mind yet", jibing that the audience was made up of the usual suspects..
