If you can't end the war you started, if you can't bring down rising gas and diesel prices, if you don't know what to do about Ukraine, Gaza or A.I., if you can't even fix a reflecting pool, if your ugly bullying of Canada backfires -- then pretend to change the name of a lake.
I disagree with a lot of people, but I would prefer to engage with them directly, rather than use them as talking points for political wins. I highly recommend that you sit down with successful people in the business community. Most, not all, want to give back to this great city and have some good ideas - what is the harm of talking to Jamie Dimon, Ken G, or even Ackman for that matter, rather than using them as political bunching bags? @NYCMayor, you have already won the election. Maximize your chance to be a successful mayor, rather than one that further divides an already divided society. If you are not successful economically, everyone in the city loses.
As a Retired US Army paratrooper, pictures like these hit hard. Trump never had the courage to pick up a rifle and man a post when he was called to serve.
Yet he has the nerve to promote AI pictures like this showing him wearing things like Parachutist badges, and rows of ribbons he never had to courage to obtain. Anyone who has ever served should be pissed at garbage like this.
His father paid a doctor’s note so he wouldn't have to serve. But remember that for every one of the draft deferments, someone else had to go in his place.
A pure disgrace.
This is the problem with government. In what world are any of us able to take one year to perform any analysis, let alone one that is not that difficult? Are we working with chiseled stones in caves? Do we not have the tools to perform this analysis in weeks? In any profession, this would be a nonstarter. Figure out proper incentives, devise a credible plan that benefits NY and its constituents and do it quickly. This is laughable.
