Ever feel like software engineering is entering a new era where the rules keep changing?
Maybe the safest bet isn't mastering today's stack—it's mastering the entire lifecycle so you can continuously adapt, mend, and evolve with every shift.
Recently started seeing lot of content pushed matching the idea of LLM with subconscious thinking process,
is it just me or more people started receiving.
Is this natural or forced content with some idea behind
The natural joy of doing comes from an innate sense of curiosity. The real gem lies in continuously fueling that curiosity over the long horizon, while building something lasting.
LLM’s are fundamentally probabilistic sequence models, trained to optimize next-token prediction. When the training distribution is dominated by factual truth, probabilistic inference they perform can converge toward responses of consistently high factual fidelity.
@karpathy 1/3:I use Cursor most of the time and feel it has learned a bit of my style — it handles the small things really well. For fresh code, I often switch to GPT-5 Codex.
@karpathy 2/3: What strikes me is how much workflows could improve with tools that offer precise selection, richer interactions, and explanation layers running in the background. Imagine being able to grab a screen and instantly open a context-aware chat.
Remember when we used to measure data in bytes, MBs, and GBs?
Now it's all about tokens.
2000s:"Bro, my MP3 is 5MB"
2010s: "This app is 1GB!"
2025: "My API call just burned 1.3M tokens 🤯"
coming time might be:
"you're out of context window!"

Used Claude Code to build a bunch of financial analysis tools in Python
Using DSPy for "context engineering"
Can run retirement scenarios, ask o3 about how a refinance impacts net worth over N years, model big purchases
