Google’s new ‘AI Mode’ tab is a positive sign for publishers - better than forcing a big AI snippet in the ‘All’ tab.
This is a slow migration to AI Search, where users choose AI results.
Eventually, some queries may default to ‘AI Mode’ while others stay in ‘All’

I’m not sure if this change is part of the recent core update or spam update, but it seems Google has introduced a sticky banner for the original source in the "About this image" section of image search. This could be a response to the issue we reported in the below tweet, which was highlighted by @ThisHouseFresh article and caught Google’s attention.
