Alongside Park Chan-wook & Bong Joon-ho, Kim Jee-woon is one of the most responsible for making Korean cinema internationally praised/popular. A list of 30 most popular films internationally, there'll be at least 4 KJW films, but sadly he doesn't receive the same level of respect
🗣️ #Chukwueze to #MilanTV: "When I was a kid, there was only Ricardo Kaká. The goal he scored in the Champions League against Manchester United, when he touched the ball with his head, and the defenders clashed, it was incredible."

What a phenomenal year for cinematic juggernauts & this isn’t even the half of it.
“Sixteen years ago, seventeen years ago - my mistake. Sorry, eighteen …
Your question, it was not properly phrased.”
Emily Blunt fucking destroyed this scene. If you know, you know. She crackles with a fierce & fiery ferocity.
Best Supporting Actress Oscar is locked.
Giroud has won almost everything there is to win in football, World Cup, League titles, Champions League...
And yet he gets emotional that Milan got knocked out in a CL semifinal.
I don't know how long he's got left at the highest level but I'm grateful for his time here ❤️
I watched Martin McDonagh's "The Banshees of Inisherin" on the plane, which I missed in the theater. Inisherin Island is an isolated island in Ireland, closed off from the civil war on the mainland. The people who live there are bigoted and mean-spirited. Even in such an environment, the main character, Colin Farrell, remains a "good guy". One day, his best friend tells him, "You're boring!" and his best friend unilaterally breaks up with him. The plot is a trivial one, but the collage of beautiful landscapes and obedient animals keeps the viewer interested until the very end. This is a masterpiece that makes us think about what it means to "live day by day" through the islanders who suffer on an isolated island. A BD will be released soon and I plan to buy it.
