[joe rogan] so you're saying you've never been fed?
[domestic cat that was fed thirty minutes ago] that's right joe. i've never been fed in my entire whole life
[joe rogan] wow
tapi menurut ku, judging someone by something they didn't even get to choose tuh gak adil 🥲
what kind of family people simply born into, they can't pick.
@TheShibeRealm what if the alien was actually an alien
but also
what if he was a chill dude.
no more "this human in green makeup wants to destroy us" but instead "this little spider made of rocks wants to sing karaoke"
one thing nobody prepares you for early on in life is how almost all the forces that will change your direction and trajectory in your adult life will come from totally random meetings and opportunities that defy all planning and assumptions
Some might call all of this extra work pretentious but I think it's fun that Nolan challenges his creative teams. How cool they got the chance to learn from history and play replicas of ancient instruments. I appreciate this level of artistry and they look so proud of themselves.
My general rule for feeling mentally well is understanding that the more I judge others negatively, the more I anticipate negative judgement from others. Practicing kindness and leniency and forgiveness has no guarantee of reciprocation, but it puts you in a better state of mind.
