I am grateful to PM @CMShehbaz for hearing the PPP’s concerns regarding the governments plans to crave new canals out of the Indus River. The governments decision that there will be no new canals without the mutual understanding of CCI & concensus amongst the provinces is welcome. The government has also committed to call the CCI meeting on May 2nd in order to adopt the aforementioned policy and return any such proposals to the relevant ministry pending consensus.

اپنی کمزوریاں چھپانے اور عوام کو بے وقوف بنانے کیلئے مودی حکومت پاکستان پر جھوٹے الزامات عائد کرکے یکطرفہ فیصلہ کرتے ہوئے سندھ طاس معاہدے کو معطل کررہی ہے مگر میں سکھر میں سندھو دریا کے پاس کھڑے ہوکر بھارت کو واضح پیغام دینا چاہتا ہوں کہ سندھو دریا ہمارا ہے اور ہمارا ہی رہے گا، اس سندھو سے یا تو ہمارا پانی بہے گا یا پھر تمھارا خون!
