After 800 years of foreign invaders, colonizers & rootless ideologies, Bengal is finally reclaiming its soul.
This is a civilizational resurgence.
History in the making.

@DKShivakumar "I stand committed to building a stronger, smarter #NammaBengaluru for all"
Excellent, but by when? Timelines and Milestones please. Empty promises will not solve anything.
@bengalurupost1 Move all the government offices and departments to move into the various tech parks across the ORR corridor. Especially Mr DKS's office.
@WF_Watcher Rates and hikes only matter when they go by meter. The government is in no position to make the auto drivers compliant. I wonder if the government is acting independently or being forced by the lobby. Especially since they are not enacting any rules/policies regarding bike taxis.
@bengalurupost1@blrcitytraffic This is just an eyewash...overcharging, refusal and flouting of rules is rampant and is more of a norm rather than an exception. If the government is serious, 95% of autos will be penalized. Total failure of the government to enforce rules and reign in the auto drivers.
@DKShivakumar Our time matters! Please fix the roads. Please fix the public transport. Please fix the last mile connectivity. Please fix the rampant overcharging by Autos. Please get a masterplan. Please get BMLTA. We don't want to pay 300 per trip.
One District, One River
UP Govt has taken an ambitious target to revive and rejuvenate at least one river in each district.
Many lost rivers have been revived in recent years:
1. Malin River in Bijnor
2. Chhoti Gandak in Deoria
3. Matuka River in Varanasi
@east_bengaluru this is right outside Thalassery restaurant. Thr foothpath is fully covered with debris and waste. Tranformer wires are dangling. Foothpath/drain slabs broken.
