@nagarjund Yes, not suggesting footpath is for parking. However the cars that were cleared must have been parked somewhere else (hopefully not another footpath). Just wanted to know that.
@nagarjund Great initiative. Couple of questions
1. What will happen to all the rubble. Where is it being disposed?
2. What are alternate arrangements being made esp for parking?
@avinashchanchl Indian cities are constrained for space. We should identify and designate certain spaces for vending that don’t disrupt daily life of commuters. It cannot be unregulated the way it is today (free for all)
@vinaysreeni Some countries have solved it. They have small neighbourhood markets where people can setup vends and people can access them easily. There is a balance needed between public amenities and livelihoods.
@deepakshenoy Same. Have switched to Ownly for most orders. The UI needs a bit of work and more restaurant options need to added, but I’m sure it’ll happen with time. Hope they can sustain this model though.
@NalinisKitchen Well in the interest of the majority this is a good move.. for fringe cases like yours you’d be better taking other modes of transport. The daily wage worker will atleast get some respite from the heat with this. The incremental cost is less than 10% versus a non ac bus.
@TheDeshBhakt Can we run some analytics on this? How much different projects are quoted for similar work (say 1km of road). For procurement of similar items how different prices are paid etc.
@PratikshaDake@Keshav_Lohiaaa Bought a pair of comets looking at the hype. Not the most good looking or comfortable shoes in my opinion. Wore them a couple of times and they have been gathering dust in my closet since. All the power to the team for trying but not happy as a consumer.
@jaja_007_7@JaipurDialogues One should strive to be cleaner as a nation, not bring others down with them.. We as Indians are not hygiene conscious and need to work hard to make our country better
@TVMohandasPai@krishnabgowda@GBA_office@GBAChiefComm It’s a good start. Hope the momentum continues. Suspension is not a deterrent enough to ensure that govt officials do their duty, esp when the payoff on the other end is huge. Why can’t govt employees be terminated like in the private sector?
