I'm an extrovert with an anxiety disorder. Do you understand how I learn to breathe every day?
I should probably give myself a shout-out every night.

My younger sister told me about the social experiment(hetrosexual relationships), wherein they found out that majority of the men would leave their women if she cheated.
Although all of the women agreed to stay in the relationship/marriage if their men cheats.
Speaks VOLUME.
Loll I honestly hate how people romanticize "psychology" as a discipline based on their pov of it being all about "therapy","mental health".
These are literally 5% of what psychology is. If you actually know psychology, the better you'll get at it, the worse your life will get.
Robin: Chemistry. You got chemistry, you only need one other thing.
Ted Mosby : What's that?
Robin Scherbatsky : Timing. But timing's a bitch.
7 years since I first watched it and it STILL hits the same.
People literally do not understand how suicidality works from a hormonal/neuroscience perspective, but it’s almost like your brain having a car crash. Has very little to do with your conscious mind, which is why protective factors matter a LOT.
A friend unknowingly said a very sweet thing today. It made my day.
CONTEXT: I've a loud voice. It's very embarrassing.
We were talking & someone asked him to speak at my pitch. He said, "No, it's okay. The louder she'll be, the softer I'll go. To balance her." :'''')))))
Passive suicidal ideation is so common in trauma survivors that many don't bother to even mention it when they're being assessed-- it's just always there.
It becomes like the barely noticeable background music in a TV show.
@Abhinavmir Loll that's because people expect things to work out as quickly as possible. When therapy takes time, they give up. They become irregular and stop going.
A good therapist will always ask you to reduce the frequency once you start getting better, gradually stop. Not suddenly.
