On May 30, Ontario ended all its OINP pathways to permanent residence (PR) — without putting into place any replacements.
But a December consultation shows what could come next.

To every Arsenal fan,
I don’t even know where to begin but I have to say I’m sorry.
What happened yesterday is on me. One moment, one decision and it changed everything. I’ve replayed it over and over in my head and it hurts knowing I let the team and every single one of you down.
I know what this club means. I know what it means to fight for every point, every position, every dream. And in a moment where we needed composure, I made the wrong choice. There are no excuses for that.
Seeing the disappointment, the anger, I understand it. Honestly I feel it too. Probably even more. Because when you wear this badge, you carry millions with you and yesterday I didn’t carry it the way I should have.
All I can promise is this I won’t hide. I won’t shy away from it. I will take it, learn from it and use it. Because moments like this either break you or build you and I refuse to let it break me.
I will come back stronger. For the team. For this club. For you.
I’m truly sorry.
🚨🗣️ Thierry Henry on Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal defeat to AFC Bournemouth:
“Look, I’m going to say it how it is because people don’t like to hear the truth when it’s about Arsenal. This team is too comfortable. Too comfortable. You can’t be in a title race and play like you’re protecting something instead of going to take it.
I’ve defended Mikel Arteta many times, but today… I didn’t recognize that team. Where is the urgency? Where is the killer instinct? You’re playing AFC Bournemouth, no disrespect, and you’re moving the ball like you’re 3-0 up already. That’s arrogance, not control.
And this is the problem, it’s not the first time. When it matters, they hesitate. They overthink. They try to play the ‘perfect’ football instead of winning ugly. Champions don’t do that. I’ve been there, sometimes you have to suffer, sometimes you have to be nasty. I don’t see that edge in this team.
People will talk tactics, substitutions, whatever… but for me it’s mentality. If you keep dropping points like this, don’t talk to me about the title. You’re giving it away. Again.
And if Mikel Arteta doesn’t change something quickly, whether it’s the approach, the attitude, or even making big decisions on players, then yes, they will bottle it. And I don’t say that lightly… but we’ve seen this movie before.
At some point, you have to stop saying ‘we’re close’ and actually do it. Right now? They’re not doing it.”
Going back three years, Arsenal were incredibly naive.
Boubacar Kamara used both hands to lock Aaron Ramsdale during a corner kick, blocking his movement and preventing the goalkeeper from jumping.
No Arsenal player noticed, completely innocently allowing Kamara to keep Ramsdale locked in front of the goal.
As a result, Douglas Luiz's corner kick went straight into the net, even though the ball wasn't in a difficult corner.
VAR reviewed and confirmed the goal.
Today, Arsenal didn't create anything new; perhaps the Premier League taught Arsenal to adapt so they wouldn't become victims of such naivety.
