Option 1:
Our state’s Samsung Service Head suggested a temporary fix: set the air conditioner to dry mode at 24–26°C, start recording a 4K or 8K video until the camera lens fogs up, and then remove the SIM tray while letting the video record continuously for 10–15 minutes. Once the fog clears completely inside that dry room, reinsert the SIM tray. Afterward, test again to see if the fog reappears. If it comes back, a service center visit is required; if it does not, do not remove the SIM tray again.
Option 2:
Visit the service center to get the affected camera modules replaced. The condensation occurs because moisture was trapped inside the camera modules during manufacturing and factory sealing. Along with the camera module, the back panel will also be replaced. All of this is covered under warranty at no extra cost.
As of now, my device has not been resolved either. The service center has ordered these replacement parts for my phone. Once the parts arrive and the repair is completed, I will be able to share further updates.
Subject: Written Clarification Required: Unresolved Camera Lens Fogging Defect & Unacceptable Verbal Resolution – Galaxy S26 Ultra [Ref: 3101286660 / 1205962683 / 1205962073 / 1205721104]
Dear Samsung Grievance & Leadership Team,
I am writing with reference to my ongoing complaint regarding the persistent camera lens fogging/condensation defect in my flagship Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra under Reference Number: 3101286660 Previous Refs: 1205962683, 1205962073, 1205721104 | Service Request / Job Sheet: 4440666568).
On 19/08/2026, I received a call from the Samsung Experience Manager regarding this issue. During the call, the manager verbally stated the following:
Denial of Defect: It was stated that the lens fogging is merely due to "climate change/weather conditions" across units and is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Refusal of Hardware Resolution: It was explicitly stated that Samsung will not repair, replace the camera module, or provide a device replacement unit.
Offer of 3-Month Warranty Extension: In place of a physical fix, an offer was made to extend the warranty by 3 months, subject to visiting the service center again.
My Objections & Key Facts:
Persistent Hardware/Seal Defect: Condensation inside a sealed, IP68-rated flagship phone that obstructs camera visibility during normal usage is a clear functional and quality defect. A 3-month warranty extension does not fix the physical obstruction or restore camera functionality.
Prior Failed Repair & Inconvenience: The device was already opened once at your authorized service center (Blue Chip Services, Raigarh, 50 km away) to clean the module, yet the condensation defect remains fully active.
Misleading Records: The service portal was previously updated to show "Device Repaired" without resolving the underlying issue.
Demand & Action Required:
I request Samsung to provide its official stand in written format on this email thread:
Officially confirm Samsung’s refusal of unit replacement / camera repair for this condensation defect.
Provide written terms regarding the 3-month warranty extension offered verbally.
Final Demand:
If Samsung is incapable of providing a brand-new replacement unit or a permanent hardware fix for this defective unit under active warranty, Samsung must take back this defective device and initiate a 100% full refund of the total purchase amount immediately.
If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will be compelled to submit this entire record to the National Consumer Helpline (NCH / E-Daakhil) for deficiency of service, sale of a defective product, and unfair trade practices.

Update: Word from Samsung officials is that they are now replacing the affected camera module (front or rear) along with the back panel, which is the intended fix. Anyone facing this issue should visit a service center and get the camera module and back panel replaced under warranty.

@Phonenurd "My Galaxy S26 Ultra unit is facing a persistent front camera fogging/condensation issue. However, Samsung refuses to acknowledge it as a hardware defect, dismissing it simply as a 'natural phenomenon'."

Please pay attention to my case. I am not the only one facing this—many Galaxy S26 Ultra users are experiencing the exact same issue. A person who saw my post called me recently; he had purchased the phone from Flipkart just two days ago and is dealing with the identical problem. Despite being well within the 7-day replacement window, he is being denied a replacement on the grounds that this is merely a "natural phenomenon" that appears and disappears on its own. Regardless, it completely ruins the camera experience and makes it useless.
"Samsung executives backed out of their promise to provide a 3-month warranty extension. Their lies made me sit at the service center for 6–7 hours for nothing. On top of that, there has been zero response to my emails, and they didn't even bother coordinating with the service center team."
"Along with the front camera, now there's fog/condensation building up inside the rear camera as well. What kind of pathetic phone has Samsung made with the Galaxy S26 Ultra? And when I complain, they just brush it off calling it a 'natural phenomenon.' A person spends so much hard-earned money on a flagship device only to end up with such a terrible camera system that can't even take photos or videos? What kind of garbage device is this?"

Paid premium price for a flagship device (Galaxy S26 Ultra) and @SamsungIndia@SamsungMobile claims that camera lens condensation/fogging is a "natural phenomenon"!
Denying replacement/refund and offering just 3 months warranty for a clear hardware defect. Is this your standard of flagship quality?
Need an immediate resolution.

Subject: Urgent Complaint: Gross Negligence, False Promises, and Harassment by Experience Manager Kajal Thakur [Ticket/Case ID: 3101286660]
Dear Samsung Support Team / Higher Escalation Authority,
I am writing this email with extreme frustration and disappointment regarding the pathetic customer service and utter lack of accountability demonstrated by your Experience Manager, Kajal Thakur, and the Samsung support team.
I was instructed by Kajal Thakur to visit the Samsung Authorized Blue Chips Service Center in Raigarh, Chhattisgarh for a 3-month validity extension. Following her exact instructions:
I emailed her 1–2 days prior to visiting, and she confirmed that I should visit on Monday.
As requested, I also sent an email right before leaving to notify her that I was heading to the service center.
Upon traveling 50–60 km and spending over 2 hours stuck in heavy traffic, I arrived at the service center, only to be completely shocked:
The service center staff stated that they had received no prior communication, email, or coordination from Ms. Kajal Thakur regarding my case.
The center staff clearly mentioned that a 3-month validity extension is processed online via official email and does not even require a customer to physically visit a service center.
I sat at the service center for 6 to 7 hours waiting, repeatedly sending emails to Ms. Kajal Thakur for an update or callback, but received zero response.
I called Samsung Customer Care 3 to 4 times requesting to connect with the representative handling my case. Each time, I was only given empty assurances that the call was "escalated and requested," but no one ever called back.
Making a customer travel 60 km based on false instructions, stranding them for 7 hours without any coordination, and ignoring calls and emails is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
This experience has proven that Samsung not only provides sub-par product quality but also has the worst after-sales service in the industry. Other brands like Vivo treat their customers with respect and value their time far better than this. This is officially my last Samsung device, and I will never purchase or recommend a Samsung product again.
I demand an immediate explanation for this harassment, an apology, and the instant resolution of my 3-month validity extension without any further runarounds.
