"Everytime India has grown, it's grown on the back of exports"
Indian companies are at the forefront of technologies for electric 2Ws globally. Not only do we have the largest 2W market giving us immense scale, but we also build all of this tech under an enormous cost pressure in India. That in theory, gives us a huge export potential. What holds us back?
I asked this to Mr. Kant during the recent Ather Community Day. It all boils down to entrepreneurs being confident and being able to see the massive potential not just in India, but globally. In his own words "you cannot grow at 9-10% year on year for decades without exports" and that every manufacturer ought to be focusing on exports in a big way.

I think most Automotive companies are innovating backwards. What was a common feature back in the days have become a feature that you get at an extra cost.
Ex: Adjustable headrest, 60:40 split rear seat, Rear Wiper

@FasBeam Agreed on the lack of test ride units though. However I believe that the pricing was cut throat considering their own Duke 250 which was priced at 20K premium from Husq just to register a mark in the market. They did same with Duke125. Historical Trend.
