BREAKING: 🇮🇳 Over ₹6.064 trillion ($63.2 BILLION) has been wiped out from Indian stocks as the NIFTY falls -1.6%.
The crash was triggered by new proposed caps on insurance sales commissions, causing a sharp sell off in financial and insurance stocks.
I wish I had understood earlier that money has a point of diminishing returns. The first money gives you security.
Then freedom. After that, you can keep accumulating.
But you cannot buy back time. I wish I had understood this sooner.

Revenue can make a business look healthy. Profit can make it look healthier. But I have always believed there is another number worth watching:
How many people's lives depend on the business?
Employees. Their families. Suppliers. Customers. Money in bank is just one of the reason to be an entrepreneur.
Most of my tweets are written for myself. A public part of my diary. But they become meaningful when something I write touches someone, makes them pause, and helps them make a better decision for themselves. That is when writing feels worth it.
The Great Indian Bull Market Paradox
A 2,370+ day bull market—but for a large section of investors, it hardly feels like one.
📌 Nifty 50: ~15.6% over 3 years
📌 Post Office 3Y TD: ~21.6%
📌 SBI 3Y FD: ~21.3%
The bigger surprise:
🔻 56%+ of 2,800 stocks failed to beat a basic Post Office deposit.
🔻 32.5% actually lost money.
🔻 Even several heavyweight stocks underperformed sharply.
🔺 Yet, around 10% delivered 200%+ returns.
That is the real paradox:
A rising market does NOT mean every stock rises.
The index may be near record highs, while individual portfolios can remain stuck—or even lose money.
In a highly selective market, stock selection matters far more than simply being invested.
A bull market can lift the index without lifting every investor.
