@zrhspot Having only recently found your account, I was utterly amazed by the detail and love of knowledge in your bulletins. I understand your disgust and injury through messages of this sort. Still, I think that many, many have appreciated your faithful reports. We will greatly miss you
@KetanJ0 Thank you for continuing onwards each day. Absolutely essential reporting about how toothless many (if not most) of these transition strategies are.
CO2 is now 50% higher than pre-industrial levels
When I first started in climate science nearly 30 years ago we used “doubled CO2” as a standard scenario for future projections
Back then it seemed like a very long time away
But now we’re halfway there

@flightradar24 In addition, if looking at an sat-tracked aircraft over the N Atlantic, what do the black dashed-lines mean? Are these moments where sat-tracking did not occur? In other words, sat-tracking only works for short periods due to the lack of available overhead sats?
@flightradar24 Could you explain the ADSB-sat tracking a bit more? For instance, why are some planes over the N Atlantic still tracked even if the aircraft seems relatively new? Is there a limit to how many aircraft can be tracked at a time by sat?
@eLichensEN@Plume_Labs Thank you for the reply - I read the white paper. Since the method is not explained in detail, it would indeed be interesting to receive further information. How could this be arranged?
