In my recent paper @PFmaribor, I argue that the international community is ignoring the elephant in the room of the global climate debate: the fossil fuel industry bears substantial responsibility for the cost of redressing climate harm. @mope_rs

Despite Israel's deepening unpopularity in the United States because of its atrocities, Republicans are trying to rush through legislation that would permanently integrate the Israeli and American militaries in a way designed to avoid annual scrutiny. https://t.co/Vdyttxn5fd
🇮🇷 Iran Sends Message to Trump, Vows To EXPAND the War if Fighting Restarts
Mohsen Rezaei, Military Adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader:
- The moment fighting restarts, Iran takes the war beyond the Gulf and into the Indian Ocean, Bab al-Mandab, the Red Sea and the Mediterranean
- More U.S. bases come under fire, and he says American losses will be VERY heavy
- Khamenei will NOT meet Trump, and Trump is the one who froze the talks
- The $24 billion in frozen assets is a trust test America has to pass; it's Iran's OWN money
His message to Trump: "If Trump has the courage, many issues will be resolved in the future." He also tells Trump to decide independently of Israel and stop the blockade.
Rezaei ran the IRGC for 16 years and answers straight to the supreme leader, so when he maps out the next war it carries weight.
Israel controls 331 out of 435 seats in the US House of Representatives as part of its Israel First Uniparty. That's why they are voting to merge America's and Israel's defense industries and military technological base in the 2027 NDAA. They want us to keep fighting Israel's wars in perpetuity instead of using our arned forces to defend the US.
Belgium says it suspended arms trade with Israel.
Yet weapons shipments destined for Israel are still reportedly moving through Liège airport via FedEx Belgium.
Now @amnestybe is joining a lawsuit alleging the transfers are continuing in violation of the suspension.
Trump reportedly says the only way he’ll restart the war is if Americans are killed by the Iranians.
Hours later FDD breathlessly argues why we need to leave our troops within range of Iranian missiles & drones.
Does FDD want our troops to be bait or do they just not understand how warfare has evolved?
Told @bbc that some voices in Iran fear that Trump just wants a deal to pacify the markets ahead of the midterms, but that he will restart the war after November.
I am unconvinced. If Trump had a military option, he would use it now to WIN the war and use that win for the midterms.
But the bottom line is: He doesn't have a winning military option with Iran.
This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

The US deliberately destroyed the world renowned Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran, including the Student accommodation. The US + Israel hit 31 Universities in Iran in just 39 days of bombing. These were War Crimes and acts of Barbarism...
Germany’s failure to secure a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council — for the first time in decades — is a stark rebuke from the international community. It reflects growing global outrage over the German ruling establishment’s irresponsible, hypocritical, and complicit stance toward the genocide in Gaza and US-Israel’s military aggression against Iran.
Germany, one of the largest suppliers of lethal weapons to Israel, has consistently justified the genocide of Palestinians. And when the Israeli regime launched its aggression on Iran, Berlin refused to condemn it; instead, it shamelessly described it as “dirty work that Israel is doing for all of us.”
The world is changing. Nations are no longer judging governments by their lofty rhetoric about international law, but by their actual behavior. Those who choose to ignore this shift will inevitably pay a heavy diplomatic price.
Trump's "Board of Peace" is doing exactly what it was designed to do: launder Israel's genocide as "diplomacy," blame Palestinians for their own starvation and turn "reconstruction" into cover for occupation and ethnic cleansing. Read @maureenclarem: https://t.co/dOTNZbYTeJ
"Since the Emir Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah took office at the end of 2023, Kuwait has drifted steadily closer to Abu Dhabi, and the domestic consequences have quickly followed.
Kuwait’s parliament — a rare democratic institution in the Gulf — was suspended indefinitely in 2024. A sweeping campaign of mass denaturalization has since affected an estimated 300,000 individuals, including citizens of Palestinian descent. The fabric of political participation that once gave Kuwait its distinctive Gulf character is being deliberately shredded in tandem with closer military and intelligence cooperation with the UAE."

The US has still not issued for Iran's team to come to the World Cup
The World Cup kickoff is a week away
This is unsportsmanlike and frankly disgraceful behavior for a nation hosting the World Cup
Israel is not our ally. They're a foreign government that has stolen our nuclear secrets, nuclear triggers and uranium. And they built weapons of mass destruction with them. They also stole our most sensitive intelligence through Jonathan Pollard.
They have robbed us of $320 billion. They made us waste $8 trillion fighting their wars in the Middle East.
The way they pulled off these heists is by legally bribing almost our entire Congress and being the top donor to presidents from both parties.
Their co-conspirators are the national media who cover up all these crimes and pretend that Israel is an innocent victim who desperately needs our help. When they are the exact opposite. They are an aggressive empire that takes our money and military and uses it to attack their neighbors and take their land.
We have to stop this inflitration of our country by a foreign nation that has taken control of the power structure in Washington. We are occupied.
🚨🇮🇷 Senior Khamenei advisor Rezaee issues the most expansive threat of the entire war, telling Gulf states to pick a side or lose territory:
"If the UAE and Kuwait are with the Zionists, they should give Abu Dhabi and Bubiyan to Saudi Arabia and Iraq."
He also confirmed Iran's Beirut red line was no bluff:
"If the Zionists had attacked the Beirut suburbs, we would have rained missiles on the northern occupied territories with a force many times greater than during the 40-day war."
And the line that explains Iran's entire regional doctrine: "If we don't defend our allies today, no one will come to our aid tomorrow."
This statement does three things at once.
It confirms Iran was genuinely prepared to strike Israel directly over Beirut, validating that the deterrence shift is real.
It splits the Gulf into categories: Qatar and Saudi Arabia are "adjusting to realities" while the UAE, Bahrain, and Kuwait are still betting on American power.
And it openly threatens to redraw the map of the Persian Gulf, suggesting Abu Dhabi goes to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait's Bubiyan Island goes to Iraq.
"Our hand is on the trigger" and "another slap may be coming" from the man advising the Supreme Leader, while the deal hangs in the balance, tells you the IRGC wing believes Iran is negotiating from strength and can afford to threaten half the Gulf while doing it.
