@SteinMakesGames I think my favorite was the one by Andrea Carzenzoula, the little hums are such a nice touch (altough may become repetitive if always enabled). The rope sounds were subtle but really adds a lot! Such a cool thing to see (hear).
@passivestar_ I think the craziest node is the CharacterBody2D that has an insane amount of features out of the box. For example: slope handling, snapping to ground, support for moving platforms with inertia when leaving too. It's crazy! It makes implementing platformer controls really easy.
@hoopy91@dark1x Both are day time, it is just that the light bounces and lights up the room more in the left image, and that the outside is more blown out in it.
Although it is worth noting that it was the third attempt and the formatting on the message was really weird, but editing out the non code titles, it worked like a charm.
I just had the most insane interaction with #ChatGPT
After making a HTML game with it (which in of itself was amazing), I then took the code, put it in a new thread, and asked the AI "Turn this button game from HTML into python with tkinter. <THE HTML/JS/CSS CODE>"
It.
Worked.
@bitbrain_ I've been recommending this to all of my friends that have wanted to get into programming. Sadly, no one has started using it yet, it seems amazing.
After 4 months of work, the promised roguelike update for my #GMTKjam game "Maces and Dices" is released! There are so many improvements and additions in this update!

@ScrapMechanic Looks amazing! I'm just hoping that the update will be out before 7 May 2023, a.k.a. sooner than 3 years after the survival update (gosh time flies by)
@gamemakerstk@FuturegamesEDU Sadly I still have one year left until university, so you could say that I'm a bit envious of the students there now. Anyway, I hope you'll enjoy our little city!
@JorgeFHerrero@reduzio Why would experience with c# transfer better to webdev than experience with gdscript? Webdev has new concepts with how html and css works, and it is not like javascript is closer to c# than gdscript either.
I am very happy with the turn based strategy game I made for the #gmtkjam2022!
Dices are your means of traveling and fighting and even works as your HP!
