Saturday the Nixa Crimson Corps participated in the Bands of America Regional Championship held in Johnson City, TN. The Crimson Corps was named a Finalist, earning 10th place overall and a Division I rating! Congratulations on this National level accomplishment!

The band concludes their competition season next week when they participate in the Bands of America Super Regional held in St Louis. This is one of only 3 Super Regionals held across the country and will feature over 60 bands from approximately 20 different states.

Ozarko is the “Blue & Gold” in the SWMO area for marching band and this is the 7th title for Nixa.

Next week the band hits the road and travels to Tennessee to compete in the BOA regional held at East Tennessee State University. #n1xa #teamnixa

Congratulations to the Nixa Crimson Corps on two strong performances at MSU’s “Ozarko” marching band festival. The band earned 1st place as well as Outstanding GE during Prelims. At the Finals portion the band earned 1st place including Outstanding Music, Visual and GE! #NixaEyes

A great set of performances yesterday at the Ozark Marching Festival! Very proud of these students, staff and parents for the partnerships that are created to share a bit of Nixa to others who don't get to see daily what I get to see every morning. #NixaEyes #n1xa

The @nixabands traveled to Honolulu, Hawaii with 160 students and 60 chaperones and family members. ☀️ This provided a performance opportunity at Pearl Harbor alongside the USS Missouri as well as an exploration of the Hawaiian culture. 🌴

The most impactful day of the trip, visiting Pearl Harbor. Students were honored to perform next to the USS Missouri, do a flag raising on the Arizona Memorial and learn more about the beginning and ending to the US involvement in WWII.
