President Nixon's birthday will be celebrated at the Museum with free admission the following day, January 10. There will be limited access to the burial site of the President and First Lady and the Birthplace on January 9. Please visit @nixonfoundation for access information

The Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum will be closed on Thursday, January 9 to mark the National Day of Mourning honoring former President Jimmy Carter and his legacy. The Library will reopen to the public on Friday, January 10.

We were deeply saddened to learn of former President Jimmy Carter's passing yesterday. The nation & the world has lost a kind, thoughtful, & thoroughly decent man who not only possessed the ability to relate to the common person but who continued to work for the greater good

From his Navy service during World War II to his long career as a public servant to his continual efforts to help those who are suffering, his love for humanity shone through. In 2002, he received the Nobel Peace Prize for his humanitarian efforts.
