One of the wealthiest things you can possess is knowledge. One of the wealthiest things you can build is character. Stay true to yourself & gain wisdom in every word.
Whatever you do, pray for the ability to see your own sins, your own hypocrisy, and your own shortcomings. Never get so carried away pointing fingers that you forget you, too, fall short.
There’s a reason why the Bible tells us to be slow to speak. Not everything deserves a reaction from you. Honestly, when you sit back and just observe you’ll notice a lot.
I never for a moment has sympathy for Lindsay Clancy, not because I am an unsympathetic person, but because I know what psychopaths look like.
A lot of people need to learn this survival skill.
“Lindsay Clancy didn’t have support!”
She had multiple therapists, psychiatrists, her parents, his parents, daily daycare for the older two, and a NANNY that stayed with her for 5 hours A DAY three days a week while her husband was WORKING FROM HOME.
How much more support could she have been given?
Maybe we shouldn’t be completely shocked at the sheer number of women who are posting “Same, Lindsay” or “I could have been Lindsay Clancy” when in reality 1 in 4 women in America *have been* her—just in a slightly different circumstance.
25% of American women will have an abortion in their lifetime. For most, it entails the intentional starvation of your baby to the point they die, then forced early labor to expel your baby’s body. For some, it’s the violent dismemberment of your baby limb from limb, ripping them out of your uterus.
We don’t often compare it to strangling your already born children with exercise bands… but it’s just as violent & murderous.
And in America, we call it “healthcare.”
