This is false.

I remember the sermon where my pastor first said this, and I thought... ehhh some of it, maybe. By the end of the sermon my mind was rewired and I have spent every day since, educating myself on the bible, what it says and where it came from.

Find a scholar, do your own research, but let believers lead you. It is too easy a book to discredit and non believers like me in the past do it without thinking.

Shirley Zimmerley, 69, from Cocoa, Florida, stabbed a horse multiple times with a knife right in front of a child at a therapy ranch.

Then she whipped it because she got frustrated with its behavior.

This happened July 27 in Brevard County. The kid went home and told the parents. Deputies showed up and found the horse malnourished, scoring a three out of nine on the body condition scale, covered in stab wounds and whip marks. Other horses on the place had open sores. She tried blaming a cat. Sheriff Wayne Ivey wasn’t buying any of it.

She’s booked on one felony and two misdemeanor animal cruelty charges. Bond set at $10,000. Ivey made it clear he’d rather set the bonds himself so people like this stay locked up.

This is pure evil. A therapy horse, already half starved, getting stabbed and beaten in front of a child who came there for help.

Anyone who does that to a helpless animal has something broken inside them. Glad Brevard locked her up. Keep her there.

I live in a conservative state in the South.

There’s a gas station at the end of my block that opened about a year ago.

I used it for the app discount. I’d go in for milk or Funyuns.

Not one person speaks English. They’re all from Afghanistan.

The guy behind the counter is about 30.

I always start with a normal “Hi” or “How’s it going?”

Nothing.

Just a hard look of contempt.

Last week I was done.

I drove five miles out of the way to another station.

Walked in and it felt like coming home.

Everyone spoke English.

Americans.

Being able to exchange a few normal words while doing everyday things is a small pleasure most people take for granted.

I shouldn’t have to hunt for it.

Removing political yard signs in Florida is a crime.

If a police officer knocks on your door asking if you’ve been removing signs in the area, lying probably isn’t your best move. Chances are, that yard sign you grabbed had a GPS tracker/AirTag inside it.

The fella driving around Plant City removing my signs recently had no idea some had AirTags.

One last thing: If you get caught, don’t get a bad attitude with the police. They’re only at your door because you allegedly stole yard signs. 🤷‍♂️

The Florida GOP is in the tank for Donalds. They didn’t allow debates because Donalds can’t debate. He’s not the “sharpest tack in the box.” Also, if I ever had the attendance record for working that Donalds had, I would have been fired.

Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) holds an overall voting attendance rate of roughly 86% to 93% depending on the specific congressional session tracked. This places him in the lower tier of voting participation compared to the median House attendance rate of 95% to 98%. The man appears to not like working.

We are back on the line at the meatpacking plant in Nebraska.

Anyone who wants to can look it up online.

A few years ago they laid a lot of us off. Said costs were too high, we expected that to mean it was going to go out of business- nope. Within weeks the same jobs were filled by new workers who took less money, collected no benefits, and asked fewer questions. Everyone was told Americans simply would not do this work anymore.

That was never true.

We did the job for years. We showed up in the cold, kept the pace, paid taxes, and raised families on those wages. Then we were told our living wages were the problem and we were replaced.

Now the unauthorized labor is gone after an arrest that went viral. Afterwards, every other left leaning news show said ...how will this plant ever operate again? The plant needed steady workers who can stay. So they brought us back. They had a line around the block, most of us just wanted our jobs back- many had been unemployed for years.

We are grateful for the paychecks. More than that, we are grateful that someone finally stopped repeating the lie that Americans refuse hard work. We never refused it. We were undercut by people who should not have been competing for those jobs in the first place.

The work is still hard. The hours are still long. But it is American work again, done by people who live here, spend here, and raise the next generation here.

Thank you to those who finally enforced the law. Many of us never stopped wanting these jobs. We just needed the chance to have them back.

Whoever made the gutsy call to report this to ICE...thank you.

@data_republican In FL, you have to produce a birth certificate or passport in addition to proof of FL residence in order to get a driver's license. My understanding is that others who come on visas, have to have all their valid paperwork as well in order to obtain a FL driver license.
