@Michell33650674 All of these ridiculous responses highlight that boys should understand women’s need for tampons. They don’t have to use them. Maybe we wouldn’t need these stupid discussions if men weren’t so completely ignorant of women’s biology and needs. What is the point of the outrage?
Gay is a gun sense candidate who has been through extraordinary personal challenges. She would be an amazing advocate for common sense policies in Congress.
@LibbyMbc I’m so very sorry for your loss. Your wife was a beacon in the MBC world, and everyone was praying and pulling for a miracle for her. Condolences to you, your daughter, Libby’s parents, and all family and friends.
@shannonrwatts Thank you Allison Polidor. You are a Mom hero, standing up for what is right. I’m so sorry you and others have to endure this bashing of rights by your legislators. Clearly the gun lobby rules in Tennessee, and it is tragic. Our children all deserve better. Vote them out.

I shed many tears while typing up these heart-wrenching text messages sent and received by UNC students yesterday. Our campus was on lockdown for more than three hours.
Beyond proud of this cover and the team behind it.
@PalmerReport I love all of these Democrats. I love Elizabeth Warren for her laser focus on consumer protection. Jamie Raskin is truly a treasure. Chris Murphy for his focus on gun safety. Sherrod Brown is also a treasure. Democrats show up to work, they recognize that they work for us.
Today’s summit was a home run. All the gun safety groups together. Celebrating our success. Planning for the future. With our president.
Couldn’t ask for more.
Every person in our nation deserves to live free from gun violence.
Last year, we passed the most significant federal gun safety legislation in almost 30 years. But more must be done.
Today, on National Gun Violence Awareness Day, I am calling on leaders in statehouses and in the United States Congress to pass commonsense reforms. Make background checks universal, pass red flag laws, repeal the liability shield that protects gun manufacturers, ban high-capacity magazines, and renew the assault weapons ban.
We know the solutions. We just need leaders to step up, show some courage, and act to save lives.

🧡The series of paintings "Every Mother’s Son" (2014) by Sophia Victor, depicts portraits of mothers who lost their sons to gun violence. Her work is our exhibit "When We All Stand." https://t.co/uNHbLC1Erc
On National Gun Violence Awareness Day, Americans come together to honor the lives lost to senseless gun violence.
For our children, we must fight to save lives by banning assault weapons and achieving universal background checks.
We won’t stop until the job is done.
