Before heating prepare ice cubes & place in water in order to cool the milk immediately. Heat the milk in the pot and when bubbles start to form on the side, remove and place the pot in the cold water. I read an article on FB.Never bookmarked it. Sorry.😥.

Every time I would defrost my breastmilk it had a horrible smell and the baby would reject it. I have learnt too late(in 2018) that my type of milk needs some heating before storage.
