@AlwaysRight111@DBam15@stoolpresidente The Hawks were clearly the better team, on paper and as well as through the playoffs. No amount of helpful advice even from a great advisor would have made that crazy of a difference.
It’s not a knock on the Patriots, but a testament to how good the Hawks were all season
@m_addict101@Avonleebythesea@RealJessica Do you think kids should just never be in any place where there’s any sort of danger?
Is not kids she’s white water rafting or something like that.
It’s okay for infants to learn how to recover in water
@anonymo69109524@MarinersONTap Julio has been fine. He’s crushing the ball just right into defenders gloves. Been a little unlucky. Certainly didn’t have a superstar month but he’s hardly been the issue with the offense
@ThePNWDude@Mariners Julio hasn’t been the problem. Not super impressive numbers this month on the face, but if you’re actually watching he’s been scorching the ball right at players. He’ll be fine
@MarinersGlaze Does this just happen because the blue jays essentially get an entire country voting for one team, whereas everyone else just gets their market voting for them?
@Jerry1367@FHReport509 Gotta invest in it to attract talent, which will in turn make a winning team, which will get people to the games. We saw during the Leach years that Pullman can get rocking if the team is good.
Also helps to not have every game at 8 pm so that folks from Spokane can come down
@DKramer_ This is why often on routine plays, much to the chagrin of casual fan, players don’t go all out.
We forget they play 162 games per season at a minimum. While of course you should go hard on close plays, going hard 100% of the time would lead to way more injuries.
@FDSportsbook Easy. I'd take the $50k, as there are a decent chunk of MLB players who would also fail at the second option. However, it would still be fun to still try option B just for fun and to see if I could even make contact with one of them.
@MichaelVitaleJr@rusi_c@UmpireAuditor It's not the length of time, it's the constant breaks in action to look up at the video board. Baseball already has enough breaks between pitches, it doesn't need to add any more. Either limit it with a system like ABS, or just make it ABS for every pitch
@Jerry1367@JLHofHPC@Softykjr Your point is that he loses prime time games, when the only prime time games that the Hawks have lost under Mike Macdonald are the first 3 prime time games of his tenure. Since then he's won 5 straight. That's a .625 winning percentage vs. Pete's .698. Hardly a major fall off
@MarinersONTap I mean I'm glad we didn't pay that much for him. Yes, I realize we should be able to pay whatever, but the reality is the organization has money constraints. So with that reality, we need to not overpay like the Mets did. Good on Polo for getting paid, but 20 mill AAV is too much
@MsPlayoffHope Garver is a feasible, usable backup if he's paid like a backup. The problem with the Garver deal was that he was paid $12 million a year. If they can re-sign him with backup catcher money, then I see no issue there. Ford is wasted as a backup catcher
@SantaKlaus0948@mariners5757@Softykjr Ford is wasted as a backup catcher. You don't relegate a top 100 prospect to a role as a backup, stunting his development. He was always more valuable as a trade asset to help fill a position of need. He just isn't a good fit for the M's organization given how set we are at C
@Nationals Good fit for a trade. There was no path for Ford to make it into the M's lineup given how secure we are at catcher for the foreseeable future, and we definitely need LH relief pitching. Makes sense on both sides
