Raila held press conferences, demonstrated & raised red flag about Jubilee's borrowing & outright thievery but we kept mocking him, told him to get circumcised, retire & shut up
Now we desperately want the same guy we abused to help us.
We can use our circumcision to pay taxes
Ruto just spent 40 minutes trying to create a false equivalence between our national values set out in the constitution and his so called “development”. Kenyans, please trust me when i tell you there is a reason the Preamble comes before Article 43. You don’t get to the “development “ clauses until and unless you have taken into account the reasons we passed this constitution in the first place. Democracy, Human Rights, Freedom, Equality, Rule of Law and Social Justice.
NO,NO, NO Mr. so called President!!!
You don’t get to talk about threats when your administration has spent the last few years becoming the biggest threat to ordinary Kenyans. And this habit of calling everyone who disagrees with you “anti-development” has to stop. Kenyans have every right to question you. That’s not being against progress. That’s holding the people in power accountable.
You keep asking Kenyans to rally behind your government. For what exactly? To celebrate more taxes? More borrowing? More broken promises? Support is earned, Mr. President. It isn’t demanded. So please stop with this nonsense of blaming the opposition every time things aren’t working. You asked Kenyans to trust you with the country. The least you can do is take responsibility for what has happened under your watch.
The opposition is not responsible for the state of our economy. You are. You’ve been in charge. If businesses are struggling, if taxes have become unbearable, if millions of Kenyans are working harder than ever but getting nowhere, that’s YOUR RECORD, not theirs.
WANTAM!!
Not every relationship is designed to last forever.
Some are designed to teach.
When the lesson is complete, let the relationship complete too.
Gracefully.
Many of us welcome this moment because ODM, as we once knew it, has drifted far from the principles that inspired millions of Kenyans, democracy, integrity, accountability, and the rule of law.
At the heart of this contradiction stands Senator Edwin Watenya Sifuna, a leader whose convictions, courage, and commitment to the people cannot comfortably coexist with a political culture that has abandoned its founding ideals. The ideological distance between the two visions is clear for all to see.
Since the birth of Linda Mwananchi, our rallies, engagements, and conversations across the country have reflected one undeniable reality: Sifuna has become the People's SG, not by title alone, but because he lives in the hopes and aspirations of ordinary Kenyans. Day by day, his star continues to rise.
A new political era is emerging. The departure of Baba from center stage marked the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. We now march forward carrying one of his greatest legacies, the belief that leadership belongs to the people.
Sisi Ndio Sifuna.
This is not merely a slogan. It is a declaration that a new generation is ready to lead, organize, and transform Kenya. New wine cannot be contained in old wineskins.
Linda Mwananchi stands ready to help usher in a new era of political consciousness, civic courage, and national liberation. The season ahead will demand conviction, discipline, loyalty to the people, and the courage to challenge the status quo.
History is moving. The question is not whether change is coming.
The question is who is prepared to build it.

An adult relationship that requires you to do their emotional work is unsustainable and not worth keeping. It's not your job to manage their emotions and pacify their chaos. Love alone isn't enough to sustain a dynamic where only one person is committed to emotional maturity.
In 2002, I bought my Safaricom line.
Ksh 2499.
I still use it.
It came in a metallic tin, with a booklet (a user manual), and a template for the SIM card.
It was preset on the Taifa Tariff.
Ksh 36 per minute billing during peak, and Ksh 27 per minute billing during off-peak.
Per-minute billing means that even if you talk for 32 seconds, you will be charged the per-minute rate.
At that time, KENCELL (later CELTEL, then ZAIN and now AIRTEL) was everyone's favourite carrier.
Safaricom was struggling to attract subscribers due to KENCELL's awkward commercials that portrayed Safaricom's network as sluggish and chaotic.
But, 2 months later, Safaricom reduced the price of its SIM cards to Ksh 99.
I almost went mad after spending KSH 2499 just two months earlier.
There were massive lines in Safaricom shops in Nairobi and Nakuru.
Nakuru, Kenyatta Avenue, next to Merica Hotel, was impassable for 1 week. There was a Safaricom shop there, and later a Samchi Telecom shop.
A lot of people had bought phones and kept them at home, especially Motorola T190 and Siemens C35, because they couldn't afford SIM cards or the cost of making calls.
A Motorola T190 was selling at KSH 17,999.
A Siemens C35 was selling at 11,499.
Safaricom immediately began selling locked mobile phones that could be used only with Safaricom SIM cards.
Later that year, Kibaki was overwhelmingly elected president, and his regime liberalised the telecommunications industry, and we began advancing in telecommunications technology.
We have come from far!
Your partner coming to you about something you did wrong isnt a personal attack. It’s a healthy sign they value the relationship & want to make things work with you—it's a heads up. You communicate, you fix it, you stay. That's emotional maturity. That's commitment. That's love.
You outgrowing someone is not your problem. Healthy relationships are a two-way street. If you are the only one evolving, growing, and putting in effort, the relationship becomes a drain. It's not your job to single-handedly exhaust yourself to keep a stagnant relationship alive.
Your colleagues are collaborators, not your inner circle. Stop oversharing and seeking their approval. Do your job and get your paycheck. Work to live, not live to work. Invest most of your energy in life planning outside of your job responsibilities and protect your inner peace.
Normalize not investing much attention, time, energy, or effort in people you no longer resonate with or people you have outgrown. Not all relationships are meant to last a lifetime. Some are for a season, a reason, or a lesson. Let them fade naturally and honor their completion.
The Lonely End of a Good Man
Men,
It’s Christmas again.
Another year you buy happiness you’re not invited to feel.
You pay for the trips you don’t enjoy.
You fund smiles that never turn back to you.
You hold everything up while quietly falling apart.
You’re not loved. You’re useful.
You’re not missed. You’re expected.
Your value is measured by receipts, not by your presence.
You sit at the table but no one asks if you’re okay.
You’re in the photos but never in the memories.
If you stopped paying, everything would stop.
If you stopped breathing, life would simply reorganize.
You tell yourself “this is what a man does.”
So you swallow the loneliness.
You numb the resentment.
You keep showing up for people who stopped seeing you years ago.
And one day it hits you.
Not with drama.
Not with a fight.
Just a cold, quiet realization:
You gave everyone a life.
You lost your own.
That’s how good men disappear.
Not because they were weak.
But because they were needed more than they were loved.
Merry Christmas.
The lonely end of a good man.
