I just asked @nklsmhs (cracked designer at Lovable) what his personal mission is:
>"To create the best interface for agents."
I think it is key that each person in a team feels extreme ownership of an area. Niklas embodies this.
Lovable has a new creative engine. The first pieces ship today.
This is the single generation that cost me a night's sleep. Everything is made by it, including the images.
Here's a breakdown of what it is, and what it isn't. 🧵
Introducing Lovable for more general tasks.
Lovable has always been for building apps. Today it also becomes your data scientist, your business analyst, your deck builder, and your marketing assistant.
This is a big step toward what Lovable is becoming: a general-purpose co-founder that can do anything.
See examples below.
three weeks ago, when i started to redesign @Lovable's chat ui, i tried mapping all possible states. there were 14,400 combinations
today, we shipped our new ui with eight

Designing Lovable from the ground up has been the greatest privilege of my career.
Today we announced our $330M Series B at a $6.6B valuation.
First: thank you to the millions of people building with Lovable.
When we started, we knew AI would eventually write most of the world's code. We also knew the most meaningful thing we could do was put that power in everyone's hands—not just the 1% who could code before.
For decades, software has been eating the world. But the ability to create it was locked behind years of learning syntax and frameworks. The barrier to build is gone now.
This round lets us continue what we've always done—invest in the best team to make the best product possible.
On design, that means we're expanding the team with:
- Product designers who ship
- Design engineers with impeccable taste
- Motion designers who push the bleeding edge
If this sounds like you, send me a DM. Tell me a bit about yourself and share some work you're genuinely proud of.
Thank you everyone for being on this wild ride so far.
Lovable just raised $330M at a $6.6B valuation.
It's been an iconic, insane, wonderful journey so far.
Thank you to everyone who made this possible: (thread)

We launched Lovable to empower the 99%, the people with ideas who don’t code.

it is fascinating that everyone’s obsessed with capabilities but interfaces def need so much more love. like if you were to put the current set of ai products in this chart where would they even be?
the top right quadrant set is likely only starting to get baked.
