@CreditCardsInd@Ravisutanjani@EvryPaisaMatter Quotation value and technical specifications look good. The only point to review is the additional 2-3% charge on card payments.
Kindly check if there is any flexibility on these charges. Otherwise, I would suggest bank loan option and proceed accordingly.
India's future in EVs, batteries, solar energy, green hydrogen and energy storage will not be decided only by demand, capital or policy. It will also be decided by who controls the underlying supply chains.
Today, a significant part of the global ecosystem for critical minerals, battery materials, refining, manufacturing equipment and process know how is concentrated in China.
This is not a criticism. It is a recognition of decades of planning, investment and execution that have made China the dominant player in several strategic industries.
For India, the lesson is clear. Strategic industries cannot depend indefinitely on external supply chains. We must accelerate domestic capabilities in mining, refining, advanced materials, manufacturing equipment, technology and R&D with urgency and consistency.
In the 21st century, strategic influence is exercised not only at borders but also through technology, supply chains, critical minerals and manufacturing ecosystems.
Excessive dependence in any of these areas can become a strategic vulnerability.
Energy security, economic security and national security are increasingly becoming one and the same.
The goal is not isolation. The goal is resilience.
India does not need to replace the world. But India must build sufficient domestic capability so that its growth story is never hostage to external dependencies.
The sooner we do it, the stronger India will be. 🇮🇳

Through the PM Surya Ghar initiative, independent household solar setups are generating more than double the capacity of India’s largest thermal plant.

India's Next Power Boom Will Be Powered by Three Forces: Heat, AI and Energy Security
Something important is happening in India’s power sector.
India’s peak power demand touched 270.82 GW on May 21, after rising sharply over the previous few days and nearly reaching the government’s projected peak for the season.
This is not just a summer record. It is a signal of how rapidly India’s energy landscape is changing.
For years, we believed electricity demand would rise because of industrialisation, railways, urbanisation and economic growth. That story continues. But now, three additional forces are accelerating demand at an entirely different scale: heat, AI and energy security.
The first is heat.
Every summer is reminding us that cooling in India is no longer a luxury. It is becoming basic infrastructure. India already sells nearly 15 million air-conditioners every year, yet household AC penetration is still only around 8%. Which means the real cooling wave is still ahead of us.
The second is AI.
Behind every AI system, data centre and digital platform sits one foundational requirement: reliable electricity.
India already generates enormous digital activity, yet a large share of global data-centre capacity still sits outside India. If India creates the data, India must also process it, store it and power it within India.
Data sovereignty without energy sovereignty will always remain incomplete.
The third is energy security.
The recent demand peak showed two realities simultaneously. Solar power is now contributing meaningfully during daytime demand hours, which is a major achievement for India. But thermal power continues to provide the stability and reliability the grid still depends on.
Which is why the old renewable-versus-thermal debate no longer helps.
India’s real challenge is building an energy system that is clean, reliable, flexible and secure at the same time through storage, pumped hydro, transmission, smart grids, flexible thermal power and round-the-clock renewable energy.
Because the next decade will not be shaped only by countries that build advanced AI systems. It will be shaped by countries that can reliably power AI, industry, cooling and economic growth at scale.
That is the real energy transition.
India’s commercial transport diesel bill: ₹11+ lakh crore/year.
Full electrification saves:
→ ₹4.4L Cr at grid tariff (65%)
→ ₹5.6L Cr on solar open access (82%)
Every year we delay costs India more than most countries’ entire transport budgets.
Time to move. Fast.

My electricity bill has more taxes than actual electricity charges.
Fixed charge — for existing.
Wheeling charge — for delivery.
Fuel adjustment — for their fuel.
Electricity duty 16% — for the state.
And then a late fee if you’re 2 days behind.
The @MSEDCL doesn’t serve you. It invoices you. 🧾
Shouldn’t they deduct an amount for not providing electricity for hours too?
