Version 1 (significant data cleanup needed and I need to make Tableau Public work with ZIP codes and Canadian postal codes at the same time) is finally here (yes, because of the Twitter exodus): https://t.co/LlNMNhmtUe

@uhaul I'd like to encourage not renting to #nazi groups. These ones used one of your trucks to transport a group waiving swastika flags and yelling "white power" in Concord #newhampshire today.
16/ When you hear, "the CDC's Epidemic Intelligence Service class was cancelled and the officers fired" I hope this gives you a sense of what has been lost.
Not just the outbreaks that can't be investigated, the surge capacity gone, but our future public health leadership lost
@karlykingsley Based on a few community social media groups complaining about their property taxes and how much the school budget is, with the proposal being "families with disabled children should just send them to private school", I think some people are in favor of not enforcing these
Not sure if the general public realizes how much of the content we use here at @weatherchannel is coming straight from @NWS and @NOAA services.
WE NEED THEM in order to continue communicating weather dangers for the entire country.
I miss the days when very rich people used their money to fund libraries, public art and philanthropic endeavors rather than launching slow-motion coups against the federal government.
Guys when Chris Rufo and Trump say "We're destroying DEI, we're salting the earth underneath it" and they're repealing regulations that reach back to 1965, they're not talking about corporate diversity trainings.
They are talking about civil rights
@ryanscottborman@jeremotographs Incarcerated fire crews are actually rather picky with the people allowed on. The people can only have a certain amount of time left on their sentences and can't have committed certain crimes (the specifics vary state to state)
@2140btc@mossadgynist There have been PMs who spoke French poorly, but they generally improve overtime. Parliament has a live interpretation feed, so certainly not all members speak both official languages. Not speaking both languages at least decently starts your party at a 100 seat disadvantage.
#librarytwitter, when making the switch from a library serving a high poverty area to a very low poverty area, how did you adjust your mindset on what you do? Please note both areas are rural with similar population sizes.
@smoIive @hoodnymph It depends on the library. That's the case where I work now (we also take shelter letters and have waived requirements for people living in cars/campgrounds), but I've also worked places where you need a card to log in to the computer, print, etc.
