@GalenDShaffer One would think commissioner Lara would quickly approve the 30% requested rate increase from 6/1. He’d then get his SIS to the finish line and quickly allow carriers to refile with reinsurance rates and cat models included. Prop 103 has suppressed rates for too long

We — as in Californian voters who voted in 1988 — voted for a system where every time an insurance company wants to raise rates for automobiles or homes, they have to have a public hearing and an elected insurance commissioner has to approve that rate increase.

@barryisthedon I’m sorry, but nobody should even talk HC change until after 2027. Schedule is a doomsday schedule, then 2026/2027 are years with no OSU, Mich, or Oregon. Everytime a coach change happens, a program takes a step back. You lose players, assistants, boosters, and buyout money.
