Nigel Farage, "We have to address issues like uncontrolled mass immigration, division of our communities"
Tom Swarbrick, "I don't know what any of that has got to do with Southport"
NF, "I'm looking for a long term solution"
TS, "I don't know what any of that has got to do with Southport"
NF, "Don't you?"
TS, "No"
NF, "You know what?"
TS, "The man charged was born in Cardiff"
NF, "Do you know what, you want to get out more"
TS, "Thank you"
NF, "You want to get out more"
TS, "The man charged was born in Cardiff"
NF, "Why didn't they tell people that? Maybe the riots would not have been that bad"
TS, "You jumped to conclusions"
NF, "They did not tell people"
TS, "You came to conclusions based on looking at Andrew Tate's twitter feed of what happened"
NF, "They did not tell people before those riots sparked, who he was and where they came from. If they had done that this would have been far less serious"
TS, "You could have said in those circumstances: we dont know yet who this person is so lets not jump to conclusions, let's wait and see and condemn how awful the attack was"
NF, "Or I could have said tell us the truth and maybe this will calm down, which is what I did"
Now is the time to leave this platform as @elonmusk shows he's perfectly willing to stoke the flames of racism and the violence which flows from it for profit. An enabler. I

Watch this it’s fascinating - I asked James Timpson what he’d do about prisons and sentencing if he was in charge. He believes only a third of prisoners in jail should definitely be there. He’s now in charge of prisons (but not sentencing).
Four new MPS for Greens inc my new MP Carla Denyer in Bristol Central
She told me a yr ago, over a coffee round the corner, that she was going to stand 💚
All of our 14 councillors in the constituency are @TheGreenParty
They’ve built rapidly in Bristol
You give me hope🙏🏼
With the Greens now having the same number of seats as Reform, the UK media should provide them the same platform and level of coverage as Farage’s ilk. Will it happen though? #GE24

Rishi Sunak’s idea of sacrifice: not having Sky TV.
One of the pillars of inequality is the privileged refusing to understand how privileged they are.
This self-pity of the rich underpins the Conservative project
“Sky TV? Luxury! When I were a lad, five of us were all crammed into nowt but a 6-bedroom 'ouse. No workin'-class friends, and we 'ad to pay t'public school nigh on £25,000 every yeer, for t'elite private education. Aye, I 'ad it rough! And if you tell t'electorate that today, they won't believe you!”

These costings of £2,000 in tax are nonsense. When political advisers ask civil servants for selective info it doesn’t yield ‘independent analysis’. As a former senior Treasury official said, what you get is “garbage in, garbage out”. We need better debate on tax and spending.
