Most of times, things come across your mind, you hear it, see it and use it daily in your day-to-day life, yet you wouldn't know the history behind it or how it actually works..

That's what I try do here, curious to know my surroundings (Physical & Digital), exploring the weird, yet wonderful, and try to express it in simplest possible way like you're 12 (but smarter) and explain the science/history behind it.

Ever wondered how a crazy idea becomes a real-world product you use every day?

There’s actually a scientific ladder that tracks this journey… and most people have never heard of it.

It’s called TRL (Technology Readiness Level) 👇

➡️TRL = Technology Readiness Level

Think of it as a 9-step maturity scale that tells you:
👉 “How close is this idea to becoming real?”
From lab experiment → to market-ready product.

👉TRL 1–3: Idea Stage

▪️Basic research
▪️Early concepts
▪️“This might work…”

This is where innovation is born.

👉TRL 4–6: Validation Stage

▪️Testing in labs
▪️Prototypes built
▪️Proof that it actually works

This is where most ideas struggle or die.

👉TRL 7–9: Real World Stage

▪️Tested in real environments
▪️Scaled for use
▪️Fully deployed product

This is what YOU interact with daily.

➡️Why TRL matters?

Because not all “breakthroughs” are ready for you yet.

That viral news you saw? Could be TRL 2 (just an experiment!)
Reality check > Hype.

➡️Governments, startups & investors use TRL to decide:

So I lend the money at the end.

Then comes the awkward part...

When it's time to get it back:
▪️Endless Follow-ups ▪️Unanswered calls/messages
▪️Endless delays, etc.

And somehow, I become the villain for asking for my own money back.

Strange how money can change relationship s & friendships.

Anyone else been through this? What's your experience?
