The South Bank is at its best at 8am on a crisp Sunday morning in spring, before the booksellers have set out their wares and you can hear the skateboarders in the undercroft all the way from Hungerford Bridge.
@Grady_Booch Blimey. This was not how I expected to hear that hixie had left Google (we first met when he was a callow undergraduate and I was doing my PhD - I introduced him to W3C and Web standards).
@Kavey Oh no, this is purely a non-work thing. I was given the long arm stapler by an SF fan friend who had been using it to bind fanzines.
In fact, a large part of my printing at work is *whispers* not for work.
