Jews have a tradition, even an obligation to call out wrongdoing in their midst. But what do we do when, with the help of social media and AI, antisemites use our activism to spread hate against us?
Activists have a great responsibility not to feed the flames of antisemitism.

Things most Americans agree on:
Groceries cost too much.
Tariffs suck and make no sense.
Congress and Presidents shouldn’t trade stocks.
The debt is a mess.
The border should be secure, but legal immigration is good.
Endless wars are stupid, especially ones that nobody wants and have never been explained.
Americans are exhausted.
AI is like my new best friend that also might be trying to take my job, my ability to think for myself, and my humanity in the process. Yo like I love you, but WTF, but I still love you.
Diversity is actually awesome! The opposite is boring AF.
Canadians are super fucking cool.
Mexicans are chill.
Putin isn’t a good guy looking out for America’s best interest. Rocky IV and Miracle are great movies.
Good neighbors are a blessing.
Freedom of religion and coexistence without having to blow each other up is probably a good idea.
We all question, are we alone in the universe?
We all fuck up along the way.
Epstein didn’t hang himself.
The Trumps and Epstein were best friends for decades. It’s like Bert trying to tell us Ernie was just an acquaintance in the same social scene on Sesame Street back in the day.
The Cowboys suck. Go Birds!
Things we’re told to fight about:
Me.
Laptop.
Vaccines.
Transgenders in sports.
Pronouns.
That’s the joke.
I open Twitter and this is at the top of my feed.
I'll go and get my gun license soon, so I'm prepared for when these losers to come for me and my family.
Are we supposed to feel bad for a man who goes around harassing Jews all over the US and somehow walks freely even in "apartheid" Israel?
And do I see a mosque in the background? Some apartheid.
Last night, Israeli forces intercepted and boarded a humanitarian aid flotilla bound for Gaza in international waters off the coast of Greece — unlawfully detaining more than 175 people, including several New Yorkers.
My team has been in direct contact with State and Federal partners as we work to confirm the whereabouts and conditions of these New Yorkers.
This is a brazen violation of international law. Those detained must be released.
@MalarkeyControl So? Does Israel help Russia? Buying grain at a discount would be for its self-interest, not Russia's.
That being said, as I have multiple times, I'm not in favor of Israel buying this grain if it is indeed stolen from Ukrainian territory.
Ukraine has voted against Israel in almost every UN resolution, even after October 7th, when you’d think they might understand Israel a bit more. So no, Ukraine and Israel are not allies.
Israel is under pressure from half the world and has been at war for three years, so yes, they can and should get supplies from wherever they can.
But here’s what stands out. Over a dozen countries are buying from Russia, including Egypt and Turkey, in far higher volumes than Israel, yet the backlash is nowhere near the same. I don’t even think Zelensky has said a word about them. Makes you wonder if it’s because people are losing interest in his war, and he knows anti-Israel content gets attention.

To be clear/on the record, I'm not in favor of Israel buying the grain in question, if indeed it originates from areas that Russia illegally stole from Ukraine.
I just find it surprising that Ukraine would appeal to Israel's conscience while hurting them at the UN for years.
@MarinaMedvin@EVKontorovich Have we considered that it’s something of a compliment that the world expects Israel to behave better than Turkey, Iran, Syria et al?
@marklevinshow Why shouldn't Israelis get to have a new PM? We get a new president every 4-8 years.
I happen to think stability (i.e. longer terms) is a good thing, but if the US can manage and most democracies can manage with this rate of turnover, why shouldn't Israel?

Turkish children were caught on video as teachers brought students onto the stage during a school ceremony, where they tore American and Israeli flags and ripped photos of President Trump.
All the children in attendance clap.
Turkey is a NATO ally.
On today's @60Minutes, Trump unfairly lashed out at the host @NorahODonnell for quoting the shooter's manifesto, especially the part where he referred to Trump as a "rapist" and "predator."
But minutes later when she referenced the shooter's anti Trump and anti Christian social media posts, Trump cleverly challenged her to quote those as well.
She wasn't able to, clearly not having prepared for that.
He has a point.
So the second word of the Shema is “Israel.”
Either Mehdi doesn’t actually have that Jewish declaration of faith memorized—which is fine, I’m not sure why a Muslim would—or he assumes Jews don’t actually mean what they pray (to be fair, that’s probably true of whichever nominal Jews he hangs around).
You can’t disentangle the Jewish nation from the Jewish faith. Judaism isn’t just a religion, and Jews aren’t a proselytizing people—it’s a nation and civilization rooted in a land and bound by a covenant with God.
Without a Jewish nation, Judaism doesn’t make sense on its own terms.
And that’s the world Mehdi is implicitly gesturing toward: a Middle East dominated by radical Islam without any Jewish state or model American ally, and a West shaped by a hollowed-out secular progressivism.
Because once you have that, it’s easier to imagine a world where the former fills the vacuum left by the latter.
