Q5: Without community, there is no liberation. What’s something you can do today to move forward (for yourself and the communities you serve) in peace?

I have no words for the emotions I'm feeling. All I know is that I'm more motivated than ever to get out the curriculum I fought for @NorthwesternU & bring it to K-12 schools.#AsianAmerican curriculum was nonexistent in my youth & as a teacher.Time for it to be front & center NOW
Many fail to recognize the undertones of homoerotic violence at the Jan. 6 insurrection, so @aleighpoet will invoke psychoanalysis & feminist theory scholarship on "the docile body" at NMU's @WeHerebyRefuse Gender & Sexuality event, Wed 3/30 at 6pm! https://t.co/rOUs6lgVF5

LOOK: "But Weymouth found many of the wedding photos were of Japanese Americans." If you need to see a photo of a couple IN LOVE, take a look at this story. LOVE this story. Thank you for your reporting @mayowaaina_ and for this web treatment @kateymac . (@jaclseattle@TamikoN )
what’s wild is that critical race theory is not taught in most law schools, and black students have demanded those courses for decades because of the absurd omission of race from required classes like property… when black people were considered property for centuries
The way that a Black woman in America can be as highly, hyper educated, intelligent, elegant, skilled, experienced and qualified as KBJ and still be treated like this by white men on national television. It's not even symbolic. It's a glaring body of evidence.
