On November 26, our granddaughter was born 3 months early. Today our prayers were answered when she was released from NICU and came home. Our little gift from God was barely 1.5 pounds when she was born. Today she is over 4.5 pounds. She is doing so well they released her before what would have been her due date in February.

We thank all of you who reached out to us with prayers and encouraging words. It really touched us and it meant a lot to us.

As I said in my original post, she is a miracle, a fighter and blessing from God. Looking at her I have clarity with a few things: 1. God is always good. 2. My heart was never mine to keep, but to give to my wife, children and grandchildren. 3. Her life didn't begin with an emergency C-section. It began months ago at conception.
