This is One of the greatest miracles as this crippled Muslim guy stood up and walked after receiving his miracle ๐๐พ
Jesus Christ is THE same yesterday today and forever ๐๐พโ๏ธ
My Muslim friend thought Christianity was easier than Islam ๐ and pointed out how hard the month of Ramadan was. He was shocked when I told him that 6 a.m. โ 6 p.m. fasting was very normal for practicing Christians. Same as fasting for 3 days without food.
@FullmetalTheist Christains believe that God came in form of a man. Because Christians believe in a triune God, and that God can do whatever He pleases (including taking the form of a man and even limiting Himself in the flesh), I do not see how your image invalidate the christain position.
@FullmetalTheist You are making my point. Personal experience + reason is what drive some from Islam. Both christianity and Islam are grounded in reason (one more so than the other), but Islam seem to be lacking the "personal" touch. It is hard to follow a God that is distant and impersonal.
@FullmetalTheist I could go on but I will stop here. There is also the biggest one: a lot of them have several spiritrual encounter with Jesus. Lots of muslims have actually reported meeting Jesus. This, and maybe experiencing a miracle of some sort, are the biggest push for them to leave Islam.
@FullmetalTheist 3) Spiritual emptiness: Searching for peace and assurance of Allah's approval but never finding either.
4) Discovering for themselves that their sheikhs and imams haven't been completely honest with them (for instance, the quran not being word for word perfectly preserved).
Catholics: we do not pray to Mary. We only respect and honor her
Catholic prayer: "We fly to thy patronage, O holy Mother of God; despise not our petitions in our necessities, but deliver us always from all dangers, O glorious and blessed Virgin. Amen."
Miracles do not always equal Godly. Jannes and Jambres also turned staffs into snake. The bible never asked us to do this. I maintain that this is idolatory mixed with necromancy.
Speaking of Bones and Skulls and relics of Saints:
When the remains of the Nigerian Monk, Blessed Iwene Tansi was returned to Nigeria and Placed at the Basilica of the Most Holy Trinity in Onitsha, a young girl named Philomena Emeka was reportedly cures of malignant cancer after touching his coffin. (Approved by Vatican).
He has another miracle to his credit when his bones healed a crippled man in Aguleri, Anambra in 2017 (Not yet approved by Vatican).
Please pray for his Canonization
God can does wonders using the relics of His holy ones.
There is a clear difference between the two images.
The first image is a veneration of the relic of a saint.
The second image is worship.
The two are not the same, they're not even similar.
The first image is what is expected of Christians to do.
The second image is what we should stay away from.
Veneration is not worship.
@fadaoluoma Did I just read "I also say the prayers TO St Michael the Archangel?". Is there a biblical basis from the New Testament for praying TO angels?
After accepting Jesus as Savior, it is equally important to accept Him as Lord. Practically, this means that there should be evidence in your life that you have a Master (Jesus) whose authority you submit to, and whose will and interests you prioritize above your own.
@reckon_iam I am a Christian and I condemn this junk as Idolatory. The catholic church is deep into the occult and spiritism. I am suprised other christian groups are not calling them out. I grew up catholic btw.
@speakUP4Naija@prince_dc21__ What if the stroke is caused by high blood pressure? What would bringing fire close to the skin do? Psuedo-treatments like this is dangerous. Stroke is already serious in itself. We should not be promoting things like this.
