@CJPhillips1982 Overconfident and never out of second gear at times always just doing enough. Do we need a striker in transfer market ? We can score goals. The stadium and small crowd made for a lowkey atmosphere and that trickled down to performance…happy Shrimper this evening
Here’s another illustration of the "great" ru offensive. The advance and seizure of territory blared by every propaganda loudspeaker. The "glory" of ru weapons. The "honor" of the ru officer. No one gets left behind, surely. Cities captured on credit. Their historical territories. Etc.
When we were kids, we played a game called "Tsar of the Hill" – you had to stand on top of a playground mound or hill and push down anyone else trying to climb up.
We grew up long ago. The occupiers still play the old games. Hills made of corpses. A rabid Tsar driving soldiers to their deaths for an illusion, for the chance to keep himself alive.
This Tsar, whom they consider a brilliant strategist, squandered everything. The Soviet scientific base, vast revenues from natural resources, the remaining brains in the country, its future potential – all of it was traded for piles of manure, filth, and rotting flesh.
The only thing they have is emptiness instead of meaning, dignity, or any value for human life.
This is the story of the war. Everybody constantly ruling Ukraine out and they continue to survive and repel. It started with the US predicting a 3 day war and has gone on till last week when Trump concluded Ukraine was losing. The truth is that Russia is hemorrhaging
Moscow is demanding that Ukraine “accepts reality” and withdraws from territory Russia hasn’t been able to conquer after 11 years of war and 1 million casualties because they refuse to accept the reality that Russia can’t conquer Donetsk.
@zbitter I did a 100 miles training run last month. Looked for 100m race but with travel and accommodation seemed easier and actually more fun to do it with a friend. Was just as satisfying and felt more fulfilling doing unsupported.
@DavidBSampson I’m a Labour member and supporter—but the Online Safety Act is a dangerous overreach. It’s the job of parents, not the state, to guide children’s online use. Dismissing those who oppose it is wrong. Civil liberties matter—even when intentions are good. #OnlineSafetyAct
@zbitter@realuktimjones I’d like to see it so records don’t count if you have outside help. I’m in UK and last 3 races I ran (200+ miles ) don’t allow pacers or crew. Feels a more level playing field. I also fill your own bottles at CP ! Okay I will get off my soapbox now…
Thankful for the opportunity to be heard at the @UN Human Rights Council.
What’s happening in Belarusian prisons is torture, abuse, and the destruction of human beings.
More than 1,000 people are still behind bars in Belarus. And we must fight for each of them. ✊
