It's honestly pissing me off to no end that some people want to push this narrative that we are acting more aggressively because CN girls are influencing us, when the truth is that by the time the CN girls got here, everyone was already furious.
The bubble they've put themselves in is so closed off that they are ONLY NOW discovering not everyone agreed with a 100% peaceful boycott from the start, and being more 'aggressive' is a NATURAL part of a fucking boycott.
The mere fact that they assume people are being manipulated, completely dismissing the possibility that they simply changed their minds and feelings, shows they THINK everything we've achieved so far is solely thanks to their 'group' and not a joint effort, including from the voices directly pushing actions against Infold.
You act just like antis, running psychological terror and trying to manipulate the people standing right beside you. Get a grip 🤷🏽♀️ no matter what # we decide to use, it has to be something that actually keeps Infold up at night, not some cute little thing they're just going to IGNORE. We're not sitting at any # at this moment, we just want to see everyone moving and making Infold act.
Infold might speak up tomorrow, next week, next month, next year. That depends entirely on how hard we pressure them. One thing everyone is still trying to believe is that he'll come back based on Infold's history of giving in after getting worn out, but if we keep dragging this out, more people are just going to give up.
You act like only your effort caused their revenue drop in July, so let me hold your hand and remind you that the we also have been screaming here AND at the same time participating in every single boycott activity, but we've been holding the company accountable from day one instead of making excuses for them and being endlessly permissive.
AND THIS IS LITERALLY THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IN APPROACH, yet some people act like we're telling others to harass employees, make up lies, and threaten people, TOTALLY distorting what we've actually been doing.
We NEED to HOLD ACCOUNTABLE and pressure a fucking MULTIBILLION-DOLLAR company that is purposefully giving us the silent treatment. We already have enough history of them pulling this exact same shit in other games.
We are constantly being tone-policed by a bunch of people who are terrified that a game disrespecting its consumers might end while WE ARE FIGHTING for our rights. This is the first time in history I've ever seen boycott participants defend a company over consumer rights. If Infold doesn't speak up, what is even the point of keeping the global server running? It's not because antis want to shut down our server that our opinion on EoS was influenced, damn it.
You guys are also spreading lies saying we're asking for the company to go EoS, when in reality we're saying that we DON'T CARE if it goes EoS if they keep disrespecting us. Those are two ENTIRELY different things.
Have you ever stopped to think that we don't care about EoS because we feel Infold's disrespect was enough to make us lose interest in the game and reject the idea of them continuing to make money off of us if they're just going to keep treating us like second-class players??
This fear of yours is rooted in addiction and attachment to the game, because you just don't want to lose it.
If you don't agree with other people's way of boycotting, do your own your way (though at the end of the day we've been using the exact same hashtags all along and doing the same things, so at most you're only changing a single one), just stop trying to manipulate everyone by claiming we're going to cause geopolitical conflicts, EoS, and destroy the Chinese gaming industry. If that happens, the only ones to blame are Infold and CDG.
#bringvalkoback #bringbackvalko #novalkonomoney #papergamesruinscngaming
@OhatsukiArt Totally agree with you. I understand the concerns of some other girlies abt the hashtag, but for me, using #PapergamesRuinsCNgaming won't be that dangerous
The core of the infighting within the boycott isn't even about the hashtag, it's about the people going into other people's posts to police them and dictate rules because they can't accept that we're being firmer and more critical of a multibillion-dollar company, fabricating malicious narratives that we're trying to ruin China's international relations and force the game into EoS.
They are also claiming that filing complaints with consumer rights organizations is wrong because it might harm Infold, completely failing to see LADS as a paid service that must be held accountable when it fails to deliver on its obligations.
Right at the start of the boycott, many players requested refunds for the passes they bought in preparation for Valko, and Infold refused to issue them, forcing people to resort to chargebacks and lose their accounts over the company's false advertising. So you have no right to judge people who want their money back after being scammed.
And NONE of this has anything to do with OUR government, especially since not everyone lives in the fucking US.
When we talk about getting the government's attention, we are talking about the CHINESE government, should the CHINESE players decide to pursue that. Unlike the CDGs, our grievance is valid, true and rational. Things literally cannot get any worse, because they are already actively censoring the game, yet people act as if we aren't already going through that exact nightmare right now. Censorship is already there!
The absolute worst-case scenarios that we have left are either a forced apology from Infold or a global EoS, and frankly, EoS doesn't even make business sense for them right now. Nobody from the global fandom is going to meddle in their politics without understanding it, so stop with this distorted narrative.
ANY hashtag that damages Infold's reputation and makes them fear government intervention while not recurring to lies is valid. If this tag didn't work, find another one that gets results, one that keeps them on high alert and creates urgency for them to respond before shit hits the fan. What is NOT valid is this toxic passivity and a chronic need to do charity work while diverting focus from our goal. We aren't here to be nice, we are here fighting for something that was our right as consumers: Valko and all his content.
'Don't attack the antis,' they said while fighting and oppressing people within their own movement.
So whether you want to be more aggressive in your criticism or just post about how we donated XYZ to charity while tagging Infold, it doesn't matter.
Just don't be an asshole who goes around harassing others in the movement to suppress their dissatisfaction, anger, and disappointment.
#BringValkoBack #BringBackValko #ValkoisLoved #Valkois6thLi
@spellray Yep. Papergames won't be ruined by a hashtag. Only malicious individuals and antis might exploit this hashtag to escalate the issue into geopolitics, or want LADS to shut down
You have your opinion and I have mine. I'll still use #PapergamesRuinsCNgaming and I also respect other people's decisions. I've seen many CN sisters being falsely accused just because they chose to be more assertive and call on the global girlies to put pressure on Papergames
@xinsaiy@Chris26886382 Oh and also, you may think i put my trust blindly. Don't worry cuz i take responsibly of my opinion. If all admin girlies are that bad, i'll take my own karma for believe in them. Now i have faith in my trust and my own judgment
@xinsaiy@Chris26886382 Don't worry, i have my own judgment and i'm still in the side of these girls. Maybe there's mold in admin team, but it doesn't mean all of them are bad. Bad apple is the mold. And i still really pissed at Papergames, they truly disrespected global players, i won't defend them
@PNKShakira Yes totally my opinion abt this hashtag. Now I'm just temporarily stopping using it bcs i understand other's concern. I'll NEVER permanently stop use the hashtag
Sending my love to Valko, Valkyrie, and all other supporters around the globe!🩵🐺
#全世界都爱敖尹
Todo el mundo ama a Valko
Die ganze Welt liebt Valko
The whole world loves Ao Yin

#BringValkoBack
I think it is safe to go beyond just boycotting or writing emails.
there seems to be this fear that if people contact consumer protection agencies or gaming media, it'll somehow become a political issue or even put the game at risk of EOS. That's... not really how these things
I'm in her side and that's my choice. I'll say this again: I respect everyone choices. If you find me annoying, please feel free to hide or block me. But don't forget we still share a same thing: We love Valko from bottom of our heart!

Dear Gamescom Organizers,
I am writing to bring to your attention a recent controversy involving Infold Games, and to respectfully request that Gamescom carefully review the company's conduct when evaluating its eligibility for participation and future awards.
On June 22, 2026, Infold globally announced a new character, Valko, for its game Love and Deepspace. The company launched a worldwide promotional campaign, including an official character trailer and a large digital billboard advertisement in New York City's Times Square.
Following the announcement, however, the character became the target of widespread online harassment originating from Chinese social media platforms. In addition to attacks directed at the character itself, many players in China and around the world who expressed support for Valko were also subjected to online abuse and harassment.
On June 28, the official Love and Deepspace account publicly announced that Valko would not be removed from the game. However, only two days later, on June 30, the company abruptly reversed its position and announced that the character's release had been canceled.
Between June 22 and June 30, many players made in-game purchases, and spent money in anticipation of Valko's release based on the company's official marketing campaign. The sudden cancellation not only contradicted the company's public commitment but also resulted in financial losses for many players worldwide.
Since June 30, players from around the world have continuously voiced their concerns across multiple platforms. On X (formerly Twitter), discussions related to the incident have exceeded 8 million posts, with hashtags such as #BringValkoBack and #NoValkoNoMoney repeatedly reaching the No. 1 trending position in multiple countries and globally.
In addition, a petition on iPetitions calling for Valko's restoration has gathered more than 250,000 signatures. Players also independently created the website Letters for Valko (https://t.co/hM0YMccHb4), where 8,316 letters from players representing 163 countries and regions have been published, urging Infold to honor its original commitment and restore the character.
Over the past month, the community's concerns have extended far beyond the cancellation of a single character. Many players believe that Infold failed to honor its public promises after conducting a global marketing campaign, while consistently refusing to meaningfully respond to player concerns. Furthermore, many members of the community believe that the company's handling of widespread online harassment has been inadequate, resulting in a significant loss of trust in the company and causing both financial and emotional harm to players worldwide.
Many players have also alleged that the company attempted to suppress legitimate community criticism during the controversy. Some users have reported that discussions related to the incident were removed from Reddit communities, further contributing to concerns regarding transparency and the company's willingness to engage with player feedback.
On August 3, after remaining silent for over a month, the official Love and Deepspace account finally resumed posting. However, its first update consisted solely of promotional material for a new banner and did not acknowledge or address the concerns that players around the world had been raising throughout the previous month.
In 2025, Love and Deepspace received the Best Mobile Game award at Gamescom. This achievement was made possible through the continued support and trust of its global player community. However, only one year later, the company's actions in this controversy have severely damaged that trust and raised serious concerns regarding its corporate responsibility and credibility.
We respectfully ask the Gamescom organizers to carefully review Infold Games and its titles when considering future participation and awards. We believe that companies should be held to standards that reflect integrity, accountability, and respect for their communities. Many players feel that a company perceived as failing to uphold its public commitments while inadequately addressing large-scale online harassment should not continue to receive recognition from one of the gaming industry's most respected events.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and for your continued commitment to promoting excellence and responsibility within the global gaming industry. We sincerely hope that the voices of players around the world will be heard and that this matter will receive your careful consideration.
More information about this event can be found on fan-created website https://t.co/N2FMt3axlP
Yours sincerely,
#PapergamesRuinsCNGaming is not a “bad” hashtag. It is direct, effective, and reflects how exhausted players are after being ignored for a month while reports of cyberbullying go unanswered. Infold’s silence created this! 🙏🏻
